I am pleased to announce a new contest to update our guild tabard!!! We will take entries in this thread and vote on which one we like best. A prize will be awarded for the winning design!!!



Here is how to compete:

• Go to a "visitor's center" in game - there is one in IF, to your right as you enter from the main city gates.
  
• Speak to the "Guild Master" NPC and choose the option "I want to create a guild crest."
  
• Create your own design and take a screen shot.
  
• Please cut out the design portion of the screen shot and post it here in this thread.
  
• Please only submit one design per person!
  
• The deadline for entries will be Friday, July 18th.
  
• We will then create a poll that will last for a week to determine the winner.
  
• The winner will not only have the bragging rights but will also receive a cash prize of 150 gold coins!

Yes...that toon in my screenie is my primary AH mule; I made sure to cut mine out so folks would not laugh at my lack of funds. I do have a nice dress on her, though.

How do you zoom in on your mans in the tabard creation window? It's showing Lyranne waaaaaaaaaaaaaay far away, and you can't see what the design looks like on the tabard.

I took the screen shot, edited it, then just had it save the part I want.

Also how about a tabard that shows what we like to do the most...DRINK!!

I cannot take credit for that, the beer goggles you get from Brewfest turn everyone into gnome freaks; that toon is actually the Aldor High Priestess.

I think that Frolic has some similar leather; howbeit much, much, MUCH more appetizing...unless you are into that type thing, which is rather niche, but rad nonetheless.

I like the IDEA of the beer mugs, but unfortunately if your toon has boobs, they just look stupid and you can't tell what it is. Which is the case for most of these cool icons. :(

I tried to go with pink (to represent the ladies), red/white (to represent the Canadians), and something manly for the middle. Couldn't find a monster truck or a pair of balls, though, so I went with a king's crown.
For the next one, I chose an icon that represents our struggles/allegiance to baked goods. Again, it's hard to find an icon that isn't ruined by the tits, but these seemed to do okay.

That is neither cake nor pie; it is a freakin muffin. Probably flaxseed eaten by some bark chewing nelf druid.
