We have six Danish uh, Police(?) whatever the Dane equivalent of the French Gendarmerie is- they live on the FOB with us and work as International Police Advisors for the Iraqi National Police.

I lift with one of the at the gym sometimes in the mornings and he's really cool. His name is Jørgen. I love the 'ø'. As a group they are rather strange, but very generous.

Also, if we're FedExing mango/cheese danishes, I'll take one too!

I would like to point out that I was not the pompous ass here.

Also, did you know that Danes are the second-tallest nationality, after the Dutch? I would say this makes them pretty great.

I think the Danes are also regularly in the #1 spot on the UN list for happiest people in the world... or is that the Icelandic. Ah well, they're just misplaced Danes anyhow. *ducks*
