There were a lot of blue posts on the official forums answering questions people had about the guild levelling system and a couple things look like they will apply to us.

Now... here is the main reason I'm posting this. One of the reasons I was able to get the Insane title so "easily" was that I started hoarding items and picking them up on the AH as soon as I heard the rumours about it. I was able to pick up dozens of Librams for a couple gold each that now go for over 200g each. And the Pristine Black Diamonds that people were giving away for free at the time, now sell for almost 400g a pop.

One of the guild achievements mentioned here is that the guild needs to obtain every legendary in the game. But it also mentions that people that have already obtained the item don't qualify. You need to get the achievement AFTER the guild achievement has been added to the game.

These are the legendary items that are rumoured to be a part of this rumoured guild achievement:

Warglaives of Azzinoth
Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings
Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker
Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury
Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros
Shadowmourne

Some of these are very very rare drops, but most of them come from long and intricate questlines that can only be done once.
Foxfyr has Thunderfury and one of the Warglaives so I have decided not to actively run Black Temple any more until the guild achievement is put in place.... if I do manage to find myself in a Friday night run where it drops I will leave it in my bank unequipped until the achievement will benefit the guild.

I would encourage anyone that has started the questlines for Thunderfury or Sulfuras to hold off on completing them or not equip them until the guild acheivement is added as well. And once we're at 85 and gearing up we can start running weekly 5-10 man runs of Sunwell and Black Temple for glaives and Thori'dal.

We will also most likely be able to do shorthanded runs of 25 man Ulduar and ICC for achievements and to get Shadowmourne and Val'anyr.

It will most likely take us some time to get but I really don't think this will be out of our grasp :)

As more info is released on the guild levelling system and we learn of other things we can start stockpiling or working on I'll post on this thread.

I have one half of the Windseeker bindings (the half that drops off Garr). Still looking for the other half....

I'm at the point where everything to get Shadowmourne could be done in one exceptional 25. As it seems unlikely that I will ever be in a pug that will go that far, I may as well wait until it helps the guild.

I just hope the box will still drop.

So, asides from the legendary items that are required to start the process of making the weapons, what else should we be farming?

At the moment I'm not sure what else can be done, but I started this thread in case anything else was announced.

From the looks of it, the legendary one is now the only one you can start ahead of time :P

Looks like a bunch of new achievements were added to the beta.

One of the involves getting exalted with fifty five factions. Someone get Scryers and Oracles, I'll get the rest.

It All Really Adds Up: Spend 100,000 gold on guildmember repairs.

Does this mean repairs from Guild Bank now? Or does it count pocket money?

I had Oracles already, but I swapped to Frenzyheart. Does that count still?

And Dondoe is Frenzyheart.

There is bound to be someone still working on that stupid egg.

Frenial is exalted with the Oracles. (Went Oracles first, then Frenzyheart, then back to Oracles. Don't ask.) And I believe Frocked is exalted with the Scryers.

Nice thing about that achievement is that it'll introduce a bunch more reps, so even if we're one or two short, they'll be done in no time.
