I know I haven't been around and hate to have to pop in here with this news but Scott passed away this morning. His friend left this message earlier today:

I am Scott's friend Ben. Scott passed away suddenly on 3-9-11 at 3:50 am. I know he loved you guys and thought this would be the best way to tell you and maybe spend some time remembering a good man, friend, and guildmate. Message me if you have any questions, or if I can do anything to help. He is being cremated, and a memorial is planned at a date not yet determined.

This is terribly sad. He always made guild events so much fun. He always cracked me up with his bear taint in Zul Gurub. It's so sad to hear that he has passed.

Fuck man, I will miss him. He was one of the best people around.

A little more information from his Facebook page: He was admitted to the ICU yesterday and underwent heart surgery.

NO NO NO NO NO!

I'm sure we all knew he had some serious health issues, but I had really hoped he could have overcome them. He will be greatly missed.

I am going to go crawl into a corner of my closet now and cry.

This is hard to compute. Arrrrrrrrgh.

He had the amazing ability to always be the life of the raid and such a good guy. I know that he will be missed by every person who has ever known him.

Oh jeez. That's terrible. I'll miss him a lot. I'm glad i got a chance to meet him in person in Toronto, he was even more fun IRL than ingame.

Damn... I'm gonna miss him. He was good people.

This is very sad news. I am going to miss him very much. :( I want to say something appropriately Torrin-like, but am too sad to think of anything.

We are losing too many VSers lately.

Not that any of them are more important than any of the others, but I was certainly closest to Scott, and he has been with us for the longest.
