Choose the dates that work for you.
Note:
May would be great because the kids are still in school and we can hit up Wonderland during the week... less line-ups!
June is busy for me at work so I left that out but if you really really want June, then post below.
September would be awesome weather-wise (i.e. a bit cooler but still nice out) and so on but I don't know how many of you with kids can get away in the first week or two of school. Last weekend of September could be potentially a bit chilly.
If there is a specific weekend you want to request that isn't up there, post below!

Is there a poll or just a random demand?

Sorry, it posts the thread and then has me do up the poll... and this poll was huge so took me a while. :)

So these are the most likely options for me, but by no means should anyone use me as any kind of deal breaker. I will most likely only be with you guys one day if I manage to make it up there since it will revolve around a trip visiting other family.

June to Sept is easier on my schedule, but I am willing to work with any dates to go. Very excited!

So I voted for the end of September...traveling on or around US holidays, like July 4, is gonna jack up travel costs...not to mention a greater number of d-bags on the roads and in the airports. Just a thought. Not to mention Halloween Haunt @ Wonderland sounds awesome.

You really should throw in an all of the above option, so those of us looking to flee our country can emigrate. ;)
I have no real preferences at the moment. Any/All seem fine.

Yeah, how about I just get a job up in TO by then and plan on being available for whichever.

I voted for my birthday dates, but the others are probably just as easily (or difficult) to do.
I selected my preferred dates, but can probably make anything work.

Hadn't thought of that... GOOD POINT.

Can I bring my dog? I have trained her to attack muscular calves...and I don't mean buff cows.

Pils, I am sure I could raise enough funds to fly you here if you were actually thinking of coming up. Seriously. I'm not even drunk so this offer is totally valid. :p

I sincerely want to make this one...I am juggling a lot of stuff (which everyone else is also); but recently my elderly parents have been added to that mix.
So, I will see how stuff appears and try to forecast six months out and go from there.

Pils, I'm pretty sure the juggling eldery persons is illegal in the State of Florida. You should know that.

They both do not weigh much; so they come in under the taxable limit for elderly people.

Although I picked the Oct dates I hope that we could do Wonderland in the daytime too. I'm too chicken to go at night. :)
Really, anytime in the fall is good for me. I'm not too keen on summertime. I melt in the heat. Seriously. Bring a bucket. ;)

Alrighty, I guess I need to make a decision here. I know some of you need lots of time to get time off work, figure out where to hide the kids for a few days, etc.
Top choice is currently the Sep 27-Oct 1 - and although this would be a fun time of year to have you all here, it could get quite cold and that would not be good since there is so much to do outdoors in this city.
The second choice is Labour Day weekend. Temperatures will be moderate - in the 20s/70s (hopefully). There is a lot that goes on in the city that weekend so loads to do. The only concern I have is for those of you with kids... will this be a show-stopper for any of you?

Labor Day weekend is Dragon*Con weekend, that might make a difference for some people.

It seems like our usual DragonCon crew is otherwise preoccupied:
Xan, Abi, Hom, Arachne, etc... I'm not sure DragonCon is going to be as big an issue as in the past (except for Rastus).
That being said, it is an expensive week to travel.

I haven't been to a VS Fest as of yet so I'm definitely planning on making this one. I'll be up for whatever time of the year, but will suggest after the 19th of July. My birthday is the 22nd =P
