I've played through the tutorial (yes... tutorial) and im level 6 now, about a couple hours in or so... doing QUESTS.... for those that have played FFXI or FFXIV.... this is light-years ahead.

This game has the potential to go the distance. I will definitely be renewing my FFXIV subscription. I see this being what keeps me busy until ESO.

I can't find any information specific to that.

Under the beta test forums, there is a Current Server Status section. Also a Maintenance section where they let you know what's going on. Other than that... no?

I think the sub-Reddit for the game has a section as well.

I really really like this game a lot. You can join every crafting guild I think. I snuck, mind you, half way across the bloody world to find the botanist guild.

Right now my toon is a miner, alchemist, weaver, goldsmith, and soon to be botanist.

Very pretty on whatever the highest video settings are. My new rig is paying off.

I think that I will stick around in this world for awhile

Gathering is a grind, but no more than anything else I've done...

The music is excellent. There is a jazzclub that I hang out in to listen while doing chores.

One last thing...I want folks to know that I am not on WoW break because of the beta...I'm on break because I still act like a jackass sometimes.

I'll be back when I can behave like an adult.

If you wait till around lvl 15, you get a quest that gives you an airship pass to go to the other cities. So you don't HAVE to sneak across the world, FYI.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to play this when it comes out. I have some friends who will be playing on the Excalibur server since they were Legacy players.

Shit, it took damn nearly an hour...and I still don't completely understand shards. I am a great crafter though...I love LOVE LOVE LOVE crafting levels.
