On Wednesday, February 1 at 3:00 AM PST, we will be opening a new PvE realm: Eitrigg. Players with characters on the realms listed below will be able to transfer their characters to this new realm. The transfers will be available until 3:00 PM PST, Wednesday February 8. During this time, standard character creation will not be possible.

Looking at the trends from past moves from pve to pve and pvp to pvp, not many people moved. Considering a lot of people are on AD because it's RP, I'm betting a lot won't be wanting to move to a pve server. I check the AD forums daily and it doesn't seem that many people are talking of moving.

A thought just hit me:

This is a completely new server, so any gear/supplies that you were planning on geting off the AH you might want to grab them before you make the move since the economy will probably take a couple weeks or so to get up to speed.

Yes, your bank moves with you.

As for the rest, this will probably be even more in our favor. Remember that once everyone gets settled in, other guilds will be looking to make new alliances for the end-game stuff and this will definitely work in our favor moreso than it would on AD.

Very important piece of info here:

Will my items transfer with my character? How are mail and auctions handled?

All items in both the inventory and the bank of the character will be transferred along with the character itself. If there is any mail in your mailbox at all -- including read items -- the character will be unavailable for the transfer. This is also true of mail in transit (i.e. the hour delay when mailing an item). Auctions made by the character will be cancelled at the time of the transfer, and the items being auctioned will be waiting in the mailbox for you on the new realm. Please clear out your mailbox before transferring.


Make sure you clean out your mailboxes before filling out the form.

We aren't the only ones with the issue it seems. We have a couple days to move though, I think its just flooded at the moment.
