Even with the recent change to the mooncloth bag pattern (making it use 1 piece of MC instead of 2), making mooncloth bags is a giant chore. And there are many mooncloth patterns that require a lot more of the stuff.

We now have several tailors who can make mooncloth. I was thinking we could pool our resources and generate enough mooncloth to make bags for the guild vault. Below are the folks that I think can make mooncloth. Please confirm or deny.

If you can make mooncloth, I'll mail you some felcloth. Purify it, send it back to me & I'll make a bag for the guild.

Yes, Yuma can make mooncloth. I've been making it for at least a couple of months now, but since I was so far away from having any Mooncloth recipes, I was selling most of it (good $$ maker!). Anyway, I still have some Felcloth, so there's no need to send me any for now. I'll be able to send a couple bags to the vault soon (need to upgrade my bags too - I just got the mooncloth bag recipe a few days ago).

I can indeed purify mooncloth. My timer drops open on Wednesday, I believe.

My priest alt Lauris can do it too, her timer is up if you want her to purify some for great justice. Or for the bank. :)

Lunaire's timer is up today. :) It'll be sometime after 9PM Central before I can log this evening, but I'll make mooncloth my first order of business. Lunaire already has the necessary felcloth. If you feel an overwhelming compulsion to send her something, she badly needs ironweb spider silk... but only if you can't control the impulse to send something. ;)

I'll try to do some farming in my limited time playing this week.

I think the best place is the two camps of satyr in Azshara, the Legash Encampments. They are way up in the Northwest, past the Timbermaw Hold opening. There are two small camps of satyr there, but the drop rate seems a LOT better to me than the drop rate in Felwood.

That is exactly where I farm. I send Zan up there with as much bag space as possible, and stay until all my bags are full. Usually come back with various recipes, some greens, an occasional blue, some stacks of Runecloth and a decent amount of Felcloth. BTW, there are three Legash encampments up there, not two! For some reason I just never really liked Felwood, so I don't have a drop-rate comparison to offer.

Yep, the little satyr guys. The drop rate isn't the greatist, but I guess that is the point.

Spent a couple hours up there, and with pickpocketing I got 11g in just coin. Some greens, assload of runecloth, bunch of recipes (all pretty common stuff) and a few of the grey weapons that sell for about 1g to vendors.

Glej, you should have the first sheet back from Laur. You don't have to send her another 2 when her timer pings, another guildie already sent me two more, so when her timer rolls over I'll purify that and send to you.

Once I get MC from Aro & Yuma, all of us will have contributed 1 mooncloth bag to the vault. Nice!

I figure if we do one more piece of MC each, the vault will be well off.

Yuma's timer isn't up until about 5 am tomorrow, but the next 2 bags I make I'll ship off to the vault.
