As you climb out the eternal slumber of the Emerald Dream things can be a bit disorienting. This world you have awoken too is not the one you remember.
Much has changed and yet much remains the same.

Let's see how much you all remember, shall we? Let's begin with the easy questions.

Who are you?

How many seasons have passed since your birth?

Aspect?

Preferred Form?

I don't have a preferred form. This character was designed for 5-10 man instances that we run. For that reason I fit into whatever role the group needs at the time. Whether that be Primary Healer, Tank/Off-Tank or DPS it doesn't really matter.
The best role I can take in a group though is a back-up. A Druid is at his/her best when they are free to shift forms without being constrained to a primary role.

Hi, my name is Zealot and I walk around on all fours. I'm almost 41 and I'm still trying to figure out why I spent 90g on a mount when I can just as easily run around in travel form.

I spend most of my time these days waiting by the mailbox for Foxfyr to send me things to disenchant but I'm getting up the nerve to venture out into the world again.

I have spent all my talent points in Feral up until this point.

Adelyse - lvl 49 - 0/34/17
Watch out! She's feral! Her form depends on her situation as she can fill most roles fairly well.

Yarb level 37. I can't remember if I respeced into feral or not because I was balance and not liking it at all for soloing. I've put off play until Maligner gets 60 or I need a change of pace really badly, then I'll likely play everyone for a short while.

Yoohoo! It's me! Kestral! I was Oriole's main char for over a year while she fought her way on Warsong and then Gurubashi. An entire year and I've only just turned 57! PVP is stinky! It makes it impossible to level up, so I was transfered to Etrigg. I'm mostly for healing with a smattering of feral to help with DPS and sneaking.

*sneak sneak sneak*

BOO!

Haha! Gotcha!
Anyway, while I excel at healing and being sneaky I'm not much of a tank. Still Oriole has given me leave to change my ways to whatever the guild would like. So, suggestions are welcome!

Lyranne level 60, balance spec mostly but with improved healing touch and improved MoW maxed out. Solo I like to flip back and forth between forms, but in raids I like standing back in MOONKIN FORM and buffing up the casters while I cast my ownself. Backup healing is good, too, but I have almost no experience tanking or offtanking.

Ok I am not going to try to write a story because I am not good at role playing. So here it is straight and forward.

I have a level 54 druid I don't play much. Occasionally I take her out of the closet for a bit. But mostly I don't play her. I tried the feral thing, and didn't really care for it too much. I respeced to balance and like this a whole lot better. When I first discovered WOW I thought druid would be perfect for me, but in the long run I find it is not my favorite class to play. So there it is, I am sure I will level her to 60 because I just can't leave her at 54 but probably will never play her much.

Gawth: level 60

Feral, intend to stay that way and hopefully fill more tank roles as time goes on.

Ibnuzar, level 60

I am a feral druid. Most of my gear is oriented for DPS in cat form. But I also have back up gear for when I am put in a healing role, I am still actively working hard on my AV faction in order to get the nice book that adds 50 to healing spells. I still lack good AC gear to be an effective tank.

Ibby, that cartoon you have in your signature space is horrid and in poor taste! :) Have you shown it to Twistle yet?

I needed a change of pace from healing, so I have re-specced to feral. I went the dps/cat form path. But I also have gear for tanking and +374 healing gear.

Still reading up on all the Druid stuff here (thanks!), but I figured I'd pipe up. Beam is about to turn level 52, feral spec, currently geared up for DPS. I tank when needed, but need to take a hard look at my gear for tanking. I can hold my own as a third healer, as my mana is horrific.

I have a lvl 24 Druid named Rinbeast. Haven't played him in over year. Maybe it's time to wake him up!

My druid Finn on Bloodhoof is all Balance, and never played as a feral or healing druid. I've been making Finn on our server feral so far. Is going feral really worth it, or would I be better off balanced or healing spec'd?

From what I've seen and my own mid-lvl dr00d, honestly it's a matter of preference - all three major spec's appear to work fantastic. I know a friend who plays a Resto druid who can heal almost as well as most priests, obviously tons of people here who are feral spec and can do considerable DPS or tank with the right gear, or just look at Lyranne from a balance perspective - she's hitting near-mage level DPS with her spells :) They're all awesome.

One thing to keep in mind with Druid healing.

The talents are a really nice bonus if that's all you want to use your Druid for. However you can heal just fine with only a few points into Restoration and decent gear.
I've healed everything outside a raid with a Feral spec and decent healing gear looted from just the 5-10 man stuff and that's using Rejuvenation as my primary heal.

If you're really a hard-core healer and are ONLY going to use your Druid for that purpose then by all means go full restore.
If you plan to use it for anything other than healing you'll want to go Feral or Balance primarily. I leveled Jakiera all the way to the mid-40's with a full Restore build simply because that was the only tree that actually worked at the time. It was painful as hell!

I took zealot into a land where the moonkins roam free.

I haven't had much time to test it out yet but it looks like my magic attacks are going to be pretty fierce!

I've taken Kestral into ALMOST full Restor. I like to have a few points in Feral. Just enough to get me my improved Prowl. I find this useful if, for example, I die in an instance and have to make my way back to the group.
