Also, I stand by my Justbob-is-Spart-mocking-Frenial theory. Also, I find Zan's role in this HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. He'd best WATCH himself lest he be docked wkp and icep.

I think maybe Spartagus created an alt on his roommates account? But either way, I think we should /gkick JustBob. All in favour (yes, I'm Canadian), say "Spart".

Whoever it is, I find it VERY ANNOYING. First, because Spart invited someone saying it was Fren's alt when it clearly is not Fren's alt. Second, because now nobody can seem to get a straight answer from Justbob in guild chat about who the hell he is. Third, because other people seem to be implying that they know what is going on and are making cryptic statements about it. Fourth, because listening to endless chatter from someone whose identity I can't figure out gets on my nerves.

That is kind of annoying.

Justbob = Spartagus. I was just chatting with him in game. The toon is on a different account that Spartagus/Ytra. Since he has two accounts, he can have 2 toons logged in at the same time. Canyonman used to do the same thing.

And since everyone was so curious when he joined the guild, Spart decided to tease you all a bit, I guess. Which led to this.

Ok, but the question that still remains is.... Who is Gleja?

Yes yes. I was hoping Spart would post, so I wouldn't blow his cover. I talked to Justbob on Tuesday, after he started popping into the Enl channel. And each time he logged off, Spartagus immediately logged on. Hmmm, coincidence? I told him how people in guild chat were trying to figure out who Justbob was, so he decided to have a little fun...at Fren's expense of course!
Hopefully no harm done...laugh dammit!

Honestly, I was just DEEPLY PUZZLED because they acted SO DIFFERENT.
To be fair Spart, people aren't grumpy at you personally. They were grumpy because we all have friends, and didn't think it was fair for you to circumvent guild policy to get a friend in the guild when others can't. :)

Now that we know it's your alt, it isn't a big deal. We were just cranky because we thought someone who hadn't been okayed for admission to the guild had been invited. :)

Also we are very protective of Frenial because he is the Destroyer of Worlds, and should he ever go off, there will be no screams. There will be no time. There will be fire, and then nothing.

I don't think it's entirely fair to treat the people who were concerned as if they're totally in the wrong here. Uninvited players somehow making it into the guild is a potentially serious issue, since we try very hard to be selective about who we admit. The people who were concerned were just trying to take care of guild business. They wanted to kick the character because we don't admit players without an application.

I am fond of Spart, he joined us on our legendary "we got through the Lyceum without AoE" BRD run, and we had a great run and a lot of fun on it, so I don't want him to think he can't have fun here. But I also don't want this to be a OMG YOU PEOPLE ARE KILLJOYS IT WAS ONLY A FUN JOKE, because when you get right down to it, people were concerned that a player who had not applied had been admitted to the guild, which is perfectly legitimate thing for people to be concerned about, especially given the discussion we're currently having about whether or not to reopen recruiting.

I think everyone is fine now that we know what's going on, and there should be no hard feelings on either side. That means no hard feelings toward Spart, who meant it as a fun joke (and yes YOU GOT ME GOOD, you NAUGHTY ROGUE YOU) but also no hard feelings toward the players who were concerned about what appeared to be a legitimate guild issue.

oh i have no hard feelings, and could care less if anyone does. i bought the game to have fun so im having it. no worries about me i promise. i am way too casual a player , my great grand pappy told me never sweat the petty stuff pet the sweaty stuff. im enjoying the game and you should too. i wont lose not 1 wink of sleep or skip a beat because of the little episode. now justbob is crying though

And I was merely suggesting the /gkick so that someone would have to speak up and vouch for the toon. And we would immediately allow Justbob back in once you declared him as your own. :)
