I would really, really love to get an Idol of Rejuvenation. Since rejuv is usually what I use to keep the tank alive when I am PH (which happens fairly often in 5-man stuff nowadays), it would be helpful to others for me to get it, too. He also drops other very nifty stuff (they're handily linked in the comments).
(The boss to be summoned is part of the .5 upgrade chain. You can summon him in Warmaster Voone's room in LBRS.)
I hear it takes about 20 minutes to get to Voone's room if you take the right jumps, and the drop rate is supposedly around 20%. That means I could probably get one in under an hour and a half, tops.
What I'd like to know is:
1. Who all has the power to summon the boss that drops it?
2. Who of those people is willing to help me farm?
3. What should I know about fighting him (I'm reading conflicting reports in my research).
4. When is a good time for those who say "ME PLS" to 1 and 2?
5. Who all else is willing to help on a farm run (glorious adventure fighting a rarely-seen boss!)

Which boss is this...and more importantly, where? Since I'm asking this question, I'm guessing I can't summon him, but if I'm ever available to help kill him, I'll help!

He is a boss whose name I forgot at the moment who is part of the .5 upgrade chain. You summon him in Voone's room in LBRS with a brazier thing.

I'm blanking on the name as well, but regardless of the outcome of my meditations I would, of course, be happy to help you with this. When I return. At some point in time >_>

His name is Mor Greyhoof! He is a drood and he can turn into a sprite darter.

Fren can summon him. Jam can summon him. Aro can summon him. Perhaps after Theldren you will be able to summon him; he might be one of your bosses for the Point Five quest.
i will gladly go! I like that fight.

Ditto Fox, I haven't seen that encounter and want to.
I know Linnaris can't, she will cry if she has to hit a darter. Even a FAKE one.

I can summon him, and have fought him a couple of times before. (He was one of the bosses I had to fight on the last step of the dungeon 2 quests.) There are a couple of different ways to do it, depending on group makeup. The one that used on both of my fights was to have ranged DPS standing well back to avoid his AoE moonfire, and anyone up close using shield bash or kick to interrupt his heals.
I'd be happy to help out on runs to get him. Given advance warning, anytime after 7pm server will probably work most days - Tuesdays are the exception.
His loot table includes a number of rather nice things including Tome of Divine Right, Ironweave Belt, The Jaw Breaker (not edible), and Belt of the Trickster, along with the idol. This may provide incentive for helpers.... :)

I don't know who this Voone guy is or what instance you're talking about, or when, or any of that, but that Trickster belt and the Tome thing have me convinced. Want a rogue or a priest (assuming Val's allowed to come play with the Big Kids)?

It's all in LBRS. Voone is the troll boss there, I believe.

Mr. Gleja is correct on both counts.

For what it's worth, Mor can be summoned and defeated with a 10-man group (which would pretty much make the fight trivial and EXCELLENT for farming; he just only drops his piece of Valthalak's amulet in 5-man). His giant darter form is also hot as hell -- he was one of my bosses for .5. And I carry my brazier with me everywhere anyway (as evidenced by our UTTER AND COMPLETE PWNAGE of Jarien and Sothos this weekend), so I'd be happy to help.
Basically, the deal with fighting him is that he's an UBARDRUID. He starts off in Tauren form, and casts crazy crazy moonfires and hurricanes and a rejuv that ticks for like 500, it's insane. He also casts a greater heal that will basically replenish his entire bar. HOWEVER, he has no mana regen, so the easiest way to kill him is to let him burn all his mana down, and then own the hell out of him. He goes to bear form at something like 75% and attempts to kick your tank's ass, then cat form at around 50% and really does kick your ass, and then darter form at 25% where he attemps to spam a bunch of damage spells (and fails, because by this point his mana should be all gone).

I too would be happy to help... but it looks like you won't have any problems filling your group!

I like the 10-man farming option. Because I am lazy.

10 man in LBRS is nice. We should do a 45 minute run! :)

I would like to go too, for a couple reasons. 1, I still need the spirestone gem if everyone going wouldn't mind beating down some ogres and B, I also want that idol (after Lyr gets hers of course)

I still need like every single gemstone, and also to kill Voone and Wyrmthalak, and also a pony.
