A few of you might have noticed that I haven't been on in a couple of weeks. I've been just a little stressed lately and haven't felt like logging. That's all about to change though! In just a few more days I'll be back with a vengeance! Hopefully. . .

I'm going in for surgery tomorrow. I should be out on Saturday, barring complications. I'm as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs! I've never had surgery before and never stayed overnight in a hospital before. I've never so much as broken a bone! So you can imagine that I'm feeling a bit. . . unnerved. ;)

Anyway, it's nothing to be concerned about. I'm just having a cyst removed. . . it's not paying rent you see. :D

If any of the Ottawa crew would like to come visit me I'll be at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. I'm sure I'll be looking forward to seeing anybody that's not wearing a white coat.

I'll see you guys in a couple of days! Wish me luck!

Stay positive Oriole! I'll send positive happy thoughts your way..the staff will take good care of you, and in a few days you'll have another life-enriching experience to look back on! :D

Hang in there -- we'll be thinking of you! And good riddance to that free-loader! (PS tell visitors to bring edible food, unless Canadian hospital food is better than what we get in the States!)

Been through more than one surgery- its all good. One minute you are talking to the nurse as she's hooking up your IV and taking blood, the next thing you know you are waking up and high as a kite!

I will stop by and bring you chocolate as you will need to eat when you are in there :)

YAY! Glad all went well. I hope she has a laptop, so she can recover lying down and playing WoW. I've done that before, but only because I was drunk and couldn't sit at my desk.

I'm home from the hospital. I'll tell you all about my experience tomorrow. Right now, I just want to relax a bit. I'm in a small amount of pain but it's no where near what I thought it would be like.

Oh Torrin, I got a cute nurse's phone number for you! Call 613-737-1111 and ask for Bruce. ;) He's expecting a call from you. :D
