So there's apparently nobody under 30 working at the Division of Motor Vehicles in my lovely home state, because, y'know, SOMEbody would've caught this.

I actually have a few friends who work for our Dept of Transportation, of which the Division of Motor Vehicles is a sub-agency. I have to think that if they caught this, they bit their cheeks to avoid laughing out loud as it took effect. :)

Getting tapped in the back of the sack with a 90+ mph ball is neither super or cool.
I played baseball for a number of years as a catcher, that sort of thing happens quite a lot, an 8th inch thick piece of plastic may not look like much but at least it spreads the wealth a little.
