Resurrecting the bacon thread. Why? Dondoh and I purchased some beef bacon at the grocery store today. Neither of us had ever had beef bacon before and wanted to try it. The verdict? I thought it was greasier than pork bacon. Dondoh thought it tasted like beef jerky. We'll probably use it for wrapping and grilling steaks.

Resurrected nice!
I heard a chef on the radio the other day talking about getting ground beef, 6 hot dogs ground up, and bacon with onions and making the paddies out of that. I want to try it.
