You weren't the only one.
I added a big bold spoiler alert to my opening post to tell people to watch the vids first.

There are a bunch of links on the official site now with articles about the show.
This one talks about what else is coming soon.... Possibly a longer film version, a broadway version, and the DVD will have a commentary track that is also sung :P

I bought it on iTunes imediately. The only reason projects like this will continue is if it makes some money so I'm doing my part.
After many many viewings I'm reasonably sure that my favourite Captain Hammer moment comes about 7 seconds after he punches Dr. Horrible in the face:
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

That was the distribution plan all along -- to have the episodes on the Web site for free for a few days, and after that to still have them available to buy through iTunes.

OH I understand and damn they deserve to make a buck. I'll be looking forward to anything that comes of it.
I think my favorite line was actually from Moist: "At my most bad-ass I make people want to take a shower"

Oddly, the whole thing is currently back up on hulu.com. So if you missed it before, and you don't want to pony up $4, here you go.

It's only on Hulu because he wants it there. And since it now has ads, I assume he's getting part of that revenue. So hush yo mouth!

Heh, they are all still on the original site and has a "Brought to you with limited interruption by Obama '08"
Loving all things Whedon and all things associated with the man I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't discover Castle until about 2 weeks ago. After 3 episodes I bought the season on iTunes. I <3 this show so much. I'm glad to see it'll see a season 2.
If you've yet to see it and enjoy Nathan Fillion half as much as I do then it's a must see.

I can't seem to find it in my iTunes? Maybe US only. Can someone else in the great white north check their itunes to see if they see it?

Something that won't get anyone arrested is preferred.
Fox do you use Itunes, can you see episodes for purchase there?

Speaking of Whedon, this will amuse you guys. Or annoy you, which will amuse me, which is even better.
They're remaking the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.
Without Joss.

FUCKING HOPEFULLY, it's not a remake but a movie surrounding an entirely different slayer. FUCKING HOPEFULLY.

Buffy Vampire Slayer movie remake
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is to be remade in a new movie version.
The teenage vampire killer was created by Joss Whedon who wrote the 1992 movie starring Kirsty Swanson and Luke Perry, and wrote, produced and directed the hit TV series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar.
But Empire reports Fran and Rubel Kuzui, who directed the original movie, and Kaz Kazui bought the rights to Buffy in 1992 and now plan to make a new film.
The Kazuis were credited as executive producers on Buffy the TV show as they owned the rights, but are reportedly not planning to include any of the Vampire Slayer's supporting characters or sidekicks from the hit show in the movie remake.
It is not known if this is due to rights complications but devoted Buffy fans are already voicing their concern at Whedon's lack of involvement and the possibility of a film without Xander, Willow, Giles, Angel, Spike and the rest of Buffy's gang.
It has been speculated that the slogan "into every generation a slayer is born" will allow for a completely new reincarnation of Buffy, in what is being described as a "darker, event-sized movie with franchise potential."

A 'Buffy' movie without its maker? Joss Whedon speaks out!
May 26, 2009, 05:37 PM | by Michael Ausiello
Insane. Moronic. Re-freakin'-diculous. Those are just some of the colorful reactions that greeted today's announcement that H'wood is planning to make a new Buffy movie without Joss Whedon (a.k.a. the worst idea in the history of civilization).
But one person has remained suspiciously silent throughout the escalating controversy: Whedon himself.
Until now, that is.
In an explosive Q&A conducted over e-mail, Whedon weighed in for the first time about the sure-to-be-hellacious Buffy reboot. What follows is a complete transcript of that interview...
What do you think about this Buffy movie they're making without you?
JOSS WHEDON: I hope it's cool.
Alright, so maybe I over-hyped our exchange a little bit. In my defense, it's all I could get out of him given the time constraints. (Whedon's crazy busy shooting the horror flick Cabin in the Woods and only had 10 seconds to spare.)
But while his words may have been brief, come on, the meaning behind them was anything but. At the very least, his statement is open to all kinds of interpretation. Is he taking the high road? Is he genuinely hopeful it won't suck? Is "cool" secret code for something else -- like "colossal failure," perhaps?

If Joss ever had the rights to Buffy he was a fool to sell them or give them up. While some remakes can be done well, i.e Star Trek, I think it's a little to early to "reboot" Buffy in the same way.
And yes to do it without Joss is pretty dumb. For some of the crazy fans out there that have listened to the commentaries on the buffy and angel episodes it becomes quiet obvious that most of the cool ideas for episodes come from Joss even for the ones he did not write himself, many times the writers admit in the commentary that the cool things in "their" episode were added in by Joss during the review of the script.
