Actually what I'm really trying to find out is what the whole pie/cake thing is all about. I don't want to jump in without some real information. So at this point I have no real choice but to hold back and take a wait an see approach.
All I've gotten so far is that the pie/cake issue is a hot topic. I guess I need to ask someone to explain. :eh:

Basicly there's this dude called Beam who has an addiction to Pie, dont bring him heroine, he'll ignore it, just bring him pie and you will be his god... That's it, end of story!

One other matter concerning Poutine...a very small, and completely insane shard of our happy band, is obsessed with Poutine. I would not recommend aligning oneself with them; as they are universally shunned, and spread very nasty oozing diseases that require incredibly painful large hypodermics of antibiotics.

Thanks for clearing up the issue. Although there are several types of cake that make the cut (:rolleyes:) I prefer a good home made pie over cake any day.
In fact my wife and I make an upside down pumpkin pie (pumpkin crunch) during the holidays that is to die for. :drool:

Debatable issue I guess. It is actually considered a custard. Most still consider it a pie. Even if the crust is on top.
A custard pie is any type of uncooked custard mixture added to an uncooked or partially cooked crust and baked together
