Jack called her today. Her family is there and they are taking care of her and the kids.

If they need even the smallest amount of extra support, Twist, Oriloe, Fealane, Jack and myself are in the the city and will be at her place in an instant.

What a shock for us all. Wabo was really starting to fill his niche. How will anyone ever think of poutine without thoughts of him? Who will tell Agnes she doesn't buff or make biscuits? Wabo had a great sense of humor! He will be missed.

I am sure Gif, you will be in a somewhat zombie-state for awhile, and everything will be a blur.. and after the craziness is over, the realities will start to hit you when you least expect it. Remember you have friends that will be there for you, with no time frame on them, now.. tomorrow, next week, next month, next year.. always. Our prayers are with you and your family.

I know we all want to give to Gif to help her out as much as we all can -- even if it's just a little extra money to let her treat herself and the kiddos to something that might somewhat distract them from everything going on right now. I've made a note on the front page that any donations given to the site this week and next will get to Gifchick. <3

Don - the front page looks great! And Gif is aware we are making donations and will be in touch with us once the craziness dies down so we can transfer the funds to her. (See her edited post at the beginning).

I know we usually don't share real names but if possible can we know Wabo's real name?

We can help you there Gif. Worst case if it looks like it will take to long, and normally setting up paypal for the first time takes a little bit I am sure we can have the money wired over from the admin of the donation site.
