It's all case sensitive through the calendar. Throw in some capital letters and you should be golden.

Sorry about that. I think the problem was that too many variables changed at once. We usually run Gruul's on Sunday at 6 EST / 3 PST, and we usually have the constant reminder of the thread on the forums popping up.

The day of the run changed to Saturday.

The time of the run changed to 4 EST / 1 PST.

The calendar removed our frequent reminder.

I was expecting to be there, but I thought the time of the raid was at its old time, so I wasn't expecting to log on until a little later.

Not to worry, it was cancelled before start time.

I canceled via the calendar but it didn't seem to take.

Something last minute came up. Sorry I couldn't make it.

New Kara run has been posted -- in case anyone missed it.

There are 21 definite Yeses and one Maybe for SSC and TK tomorrow.


We will definitely run something but it may prove to be an excercize in frustration if we go to SSC with 21 people and a couple pulled in from guild chat.


Depending on how many people are around tomorrow I may change the plan to Gruul's Lair and Magtheridon's Lair.

The new Kara boss is the first time I've used this to sign up for a raid that wasn't so big everyone who signed up would be included ... how/when do we find out who is in the group?

I think we're going to take everyone. We might do two runs back-to-back, subbing in alts to fill out two complete groups. Please update your response based on preference of when you want to go (earlier or later) and whether you have alts that might also like to be included.

I'm figuring out how to split this up now. There are several people that just wanted to do the boss so I will be taking them in the first group.

A second group will take the people that said they would be a little late, the ones that didn't go in the first group, and a couple alts to fill out the run.

We most likely won't be clearing Kara but we'll get some extra badges for those that want to continue.

There are 4 characters on the sign up for tonight that have expressed an interest in getting the Axe.

I feel pretty confident in saying that this event will be disappearing next Tuesday with the reset. For that reason I'm going to only take two of the people that want the axe tonight and then set another run for later in the week to take the other two. (If everyone goes in the run two people WILL NOT get it and I don't wanna see any hurt feelings)

If anyone else is free tonight to help out with two quick runs it would be very much appreciated.

These will not be badge runs, we'll just go in and hit the boss to get the pet for as many people as possible before the deadline.

I will be setting up a run for later this week as well and we'll really need some help if its available.

Jack and Illyria are free to help. What's the minimum lvl for kara now? Looks like we can get the quest for the new boss on a lvl 66?? If so I have 2 extra toons that can help and are interested in the axe (if there's time). Sugarmommy (warrior, fury) and Beastial (hunter, BM) both lvl 66. (Don't worry if there's no time or if it's too much trouble, just keep in mind you have 2 extra toons to play around with if need be)

I really don't know what the min level is for Kara... I assume it's 70 but I'm not sure.


I've set up two groups for tonight. Many of the people in the groups already have the pet. If anyone wants to sub in for the pet or if I overlooked something let me know and I'll fix it before we get going.

OK, I became a bit confused when I went to set up a 5-man run the other day...
Is there any reason that we can't have the same kind of system for both?

Also, is there a way to display a "Master Calendar" that shows events, raids, and 5-mans?
I think this would make it simpler to be sure that we aren't conflicting with other runs.

I think it has something to do with site permissions but I'm sure The Don can let you know for sure.

Saturday is good.

Due to the way we organize 5-mans versus raids, they're going to use the different methods as it's easier to use the forum method for just getting 5 people together.

I'm working on a master calendar but at this time it's not possible -- limitation of the software we use.

Is tonight's run still on? There are only 11 signups and the calendar still says Sunday.

I'm logging in now..... I'm up for anything anyone would like to try... Maybe ZG... Maybe AQ20.... whatever everyone wants.
