I'm Torrin. Just call me Torrin across all of my alts. If you try to keep them straight you will shit yourself and pass out. So don't try.

I've been around forever... I started even further back, in AC1 and was a member of the "Biz I" Monarchy which eventually boiled down to The Enlightened and continues on (Read Killians' post).

I fill a much needed spot in the guild. I am the guy that goes there. The thing that nobody is saying, the mom jokes and the horrible pun is mostly likely spewing from my fat-ass. There isn't anything you can really do to stop me, my intention is never to truly offend and is purely for comedic value.

Also, I am a dick. Or an ex-dick.. uh.. ok maybe not just as much of a dick as I used to be. You know the dramaplostion a couple years ago? I was the spark.

I work in a NOC for a hyooj media company (Demand Media) where I do my best to keep things running and try not to get yelled at too much.

You know the dramaplostion a couple years ago? I was the spark.

And I was the fuel, baby.

So, since I've posted I might as well post "For Realz" and introduce myself.

In RL, I'm based in Minnesota, have 2 dogs, bake bread, fix bikes and waste far too much time on the internet. But who cares about RL?

Gleja started on Argent Dawn (but never played with The Don et. al over there), largely because I hoped that an RP server would be less retarded than a non-RP server. In some ways, this plan worked. In other ways, it didn't. I leveled G to her 30s, got distracted and canceled my account around the time Zul'Gurub was introduced.

When I decided to play again, in early 2006, I took advantage of the free transfer from AD to Eitrigg. I ran guildless for a bit, then saw the recruitment post from VS. I think I was the 2nd applicant, just after Rinader.

Wow, those were weird times. It was pretty much just me, Sherica, Torrin and Lux on ALL THE TIME. Then we added Widget, the Memphis Crew, etc. Somehow I got to be an officer (The Don's first mistake!) and around May of that year I nearly G-kicked our favorite toons: Clandara and Edranarine. Good times.

I continued to put far too much work into a game (i.e., writing a web application to track ZG loot), and pretty much fried myself by the time TBC came along, helping lead to the great Dramaslposion of 2007. This leads to the #1 Rule of Gleja:

Don't put Gleja in an officer spot.

After a self-imposed exile, I came back to VS a few months later, just in time for our first Kara runs. Kara was awesome, ZA was meh, and my enthusiasm meter eventually hit the big red E and I shut down my account.

Now I only post on the VS forums so that I can see the ego-boosting replies of "Come Back Gleja!"

I joined VS early in 06 at the urging of my son Raeb. I've enjoyed every minute of it, and will be playing on a more regular basis in the not too distant future, but probably not at the level I did pryor to going into semi-retirerment this past summer. (Most of my serios health problems have been dealt with) In RL I live in south central Missouri and will definately try to make any of the upcoming Memphis events. I'm a glorified Unix SA and work remotely for a company out of Annapolis, MD. Currently petless. :-(

Charchick - She is my human healer she is very easy going except when it comes to people yelling at her on who to heal, (my favorite is warlocks who do that drain health to get mana thing and then demand heals...) and it is at this point she will watch your health go down and at the very last second she will save your butt. (this is more for when I am pugging around and not in a guild run) She is my 2nd 70 as I was advised when I started the game not to roll a healer as my first toon, I now fully understand the logic behind that. She has never played in shadow, and thinks the dark side could be fun but is a little scary…

Gifchick - She is my NE hunter, and has many fun adventures, but she drinks... and as a result one day she though she had super powers and could solo Grrul, well she couldn’t and took out a 25 man raid trying, oh memories! She is also the toon I let my 5 year old play to do my fishing. I am so happy she can't read guild chat yet...She is also the sugar mama of my toons, she is the one that cooks for them, fishes and generally brings in the cash.

Char - Well this is the real me, I am a web developer who is currently enjoying contract hoping. I am also Canuk from Ottawa, I started playing in Feb of 2007, after a bit of a break from gaming to have some offspring. Before that I was playing The Sims anything.

At the time all of my work buddies were playing and it sounded cool so I joined the fun and they brought me into the VS family.

I currently am a single mom of a 3 year old boy and a 5 year old girl, as a result most of my stuff has been solo lately as they tend to distract me from time to time. I also have a kitty named Hummer who is my guard cat.

I met a bunch of fellow geeks while in TO and a number of them are in Ottawa as well. I was really touched and it opened my eyes to how we really are a family with the amount of support I got when Wabo passed away. I love you guys! Group hug!!!

Oh and I make amazing fudge ask Agnes

Awwww, of all the reasons Gleja could have picked to give WoW another go, the reason he has picked is: SPITE.

Here goes, I'm Druie, currently a level 72 Feral Druid. I have 3 other alts, Magicks (Frost Mage) and Deaderend (Affliction Warlock) both level 70 and Druster, a level 73 DK.

I started out just after the release of BC on the Auchindon (PVP) server. I joined VS a few months ago. I mentioned to Twistle (we work in the same office) I was looking to move servers and tired of the drama guilds I was in and he mentioned Eitrigg and VS and a few other folks who work in the office are this guild.. The rest is history. A lot of good folks in this here guild.

I was born and raised in la Canada, the Montreal area to be specific. I now make my home in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. I hear the fudge in these here parts is out of this world. I’ve got to get me some of that action. :D

I currently work as a Network Abuse Analyst for an ISP

Maybe I'll do both.

"Pwntcreme", from the makers of such fine products as "Lawlraped" and "You finally got to the end of the instance and your tank has to go do dishes and you eventually settle for letting the crazy ass PuG rogue OT the last boss so you can get back to that pr0n that's been in the back of your head for hours and you wipe 4 times before you finally realize that your healer is already looking at the very same pr0n you've been looking foward to and thusly healing with only one hand which makes you bash your face through the monitor screen which cost more money than you'll make in 2 months and all the people who'd be willing to pay for your screen and your newly rearranged face are on the intarwebs ointment."

.. They should really work on their ads.

Hi, my name is actually Brendan. Brendar was the name bestowed on me by my parents when I was a 8 year old holy terror. It stuck with me in various forms ever since and it works as a game name. Brendar is my main, a Paladin who is a tank at heart but moonlights as a healer and is levelling Ret right now (as rarely as I get to play). I have a bunch of alts stabled in Grammatically Correct, but they wont see much sunshine anytime soon. I started WoW at the urgings of my high school/college friends as a means to stay in touch while I was living overseas. They all then quit the game and I needed a new home: VS welcomed me in October of 2006. One of my first memories of VS is levelling poor Brendar through the 40s in STV and Eulalia, unsolicited, found it in her cold, hard heart to help me with some quests and simultaneously introduced me to Pandora.com. She IS as fearsome as her reputation would suggest, but only when you deserve it.

In real life I'm a soldier. I joined the guild while stationed in an infantry reconnaissance unit in Germany. I would wake up at crazy hours in the middle of the night on work nights to raid before PT in the morning, often falling asleep at the keyboard. Othertimes, on weekends, I would be incoherently drunk. Thus the first year or so in the guild is all kind of a blur. Now that I'm back in the states, I've been able to play sober a lot more, but then who wants to do that? I'm about to deploy to Iraq for the entire year of 2009 as a combat advisor embedded in an Iraqi infantry battalion. I spent the summer in Virginia in an 'Army school' and had a lot of time to screw around and play, but lately I've been in the middle of Kansas training for my mission. Needless to say, the lifestyle lends itself to sporadic availability and online access. When I have the time, I love to play, when I don't have the time, I at least try to log in and stay in contact with my WoW family. Moving around all over the world, I meet and leave behind a lot of friends, but Victorious Secret is with me wherever I go. I've met over two dozen of you in real life and every one of you are fabulous, wonderful, warm-hearted people. I really feel thankful to be a part of this group.

Like Lux, I tend to share too much about myself online and really like to cross boundaries. If you have been on gchat past 10pm with me, you've probably seen that. I think in my case its less a mental illness and more that I am outgoing and really love and trust the people of this guild.

There has been a slew of new people in the guild since I've been really active, so I intend to log on before I deploy for a ritual retelling of the infamous 'milk balls' story.

Hi,

I'm Nagdabbit. In and out of my Warlock guise I've been in VS for a few months. I've been playing WoW since version 1.2--nearly 4 years. I've taken a few breaks along the way and this is my 2nd account. Blizzard and I got into a debate about paying for a game I wasn't able to play for 3 months because of over subscription (right before they added the queue system 2 years ago) and froze my first account when I "took" my money back. Paying by credit card, what a wonderful thing...

Anyway, I have my Alliance toons with VS and a few Horde toons on another server. I've been mainly here on Etrigg since joining VS. I've linked my toon names to my profile. Feel free to look them up on the Armory.

In real life I am a Network Engineer working in San Antonio TX. I spent 22.5 years in the USAF as a Network Security Engineer/Computer Support Engineer and retired after being disabled during a trip to Southwest Asia--war is hell. Suffering from chronic pain I can be an actual pain unintentionally and try my best to watch what I say both in person and on-line.

- If I ever offend you please let me know. I'll do my best to not make that a repeat performance.

I feel at home in this guild and have found friendship and family within its membership. I hope you find the same.

Kwanzaclaus, WhiteytheMan,Brown, Kurtisblow, Piltnuc = Matt in RL

I am actually 1/2 black 1/2 Italian, or as my wife likes to call me Half-fro Italian.

I am a Network Admin/Tech Specialist for a local school district (previously, I was a Teacher of Comp Science and Math, and before that Drug Dealer and Thief...Just ask The Don!)

I have twins (4yro boy and girl). My son is a Tae Kwon Do Master already and my daughter likes to run around naked yelling how she will "Put her butt on you"

I'm one of the OG (Original Guild) Members from waaaaaaay back in Asheron's Call 1.

Some days I don't talk in guild chat, other days you can't shut me up.

I always talk shit and am NEVER serious.

I've know The Don, Agnes and Torrin since forever.........

I hate white people, I like to kill cats with my bare hands, and LOVE LOVE LOVE mixing Cake and Pie together in a big bowl, then flushing it all down the toilet.

I'm mad cool, ebonically speaking, and you're not. Sorry.

I also like long walks on the beach and big fat titties.
