Bren, I would like you to know that you are missing out on Hangar One Spiced Pear. Every year they do a seasonal distillation (2006 was wasabi vodka, last year was chipotle, this year is spiced pear). It's a limited bottling, and it sells like crazy. I got one bottle for me and one for my cousin, and that's how I rang in the new year. It's damn fine.
I do believe they don't sell it in Kuwait, and that's really sad.
I just wanted to rub it in.

Wow, Sapph. Just.... wow. Please don't mail me booze. Sounds like you are putting it to get enough use yourself.
I actually typed that out completely correct at first. Then I thought, "That doesn't quite justify how drunk I really am." So I changed it. There's enough booze to go around, don't you worry. :)

I got some for myself, actually. Me and some ladies polished off the bottle in the hotel after my going away party. And I bought one for Torrin. Its.... spicy. Torrin discovered the best mix was Sprite, which sounds like a travesty, but was actually pretty good. Also, at the Westin in St. Louis, I tried the Wasabi. AWFUL by itself, but very good in a bloody mary. Have yet to come across the Chipotle.

You couldn't afford my hourly rate. Not even the teensy increment that would be required.

If anyone is interested in reading up on what I do, this is where you can find it:

The only problem with this journal is that when it doesn't get updated for a few days I get worried...
I guess he's enroute to somewhere...

He sent a PM yesterday, so he's ok. :) Said he has been away from the internet for a few days.

Updated today. I'm finding that sporadic internet access necessitates my contiuing my journal offline and just posting the backlog of entries when I get a chance.
I'm still in Kuwait- the most dangerous part of my day is deciding on pie or ice cream for desert.

That's would be a tough decision if you had K-State ice cream. But seeing as how you don't I'm sure that pie wins out.
...Unless "Pie with ice cream" is a choice...

Soon enough I'll be living on an Iraqi JSS where I'll be eating goat and rice every meal. So for now I'm going with 'both' as long as its an option.
