I'll let you guys know once I either manage to crash it or the gates to the 7th circle of hell open up.

Ooooooh, That's why they called it Windows 7!

I had been wondering about that...

1. Windows 1.x (1985)
2. Windows 2.x (1988)
3. Windows 3.x (1990)
4. Windows 3.1x (1992)
5. Windows 95 (1995)
6. Windows 98 (1998)
7. Windows ME (2000)
8. Windows XP (2001)
9. Windows Vista (2007)

So that would mean it should be Windows 10 (which frankly is a bit more catchy anyway...)

OK, I posted this before doing the correct research... so I then figured it out. If anyone is wondering here are the actual numbers.

Windows 1.0-3.1x are considered as Ver. 1-3.
Then the versioning actially switches over to NT (Because current Win operating systems are build on the NT model.)
So NT 4.0 is Ver. 4.
2000 is actually NT 5.0 and XP is considered 5.1 so together they make up Ver 5.
Vista is Ver. 6
Leaving windows 7 as Ver 7.0

These guys apparently get paid the big bucks for something, right... hehe
