Kaeryna and Ressick,
Thanks for your posts and support. We really appreciate it!
Despite what Lux says, Kaeryna, you're not a cunt... :)

A note from Sapph:
Khros and the guys approached us in a PM explaining their desire to raid with their main toons. They said they were going to take their other toons out of VS and leave them unguilded because they weren't sure if they were allowed to keep them in VS. They wanted to leave it up to the Producers to make this decision because they didn't want to cause more drama. Considering the drama bug that is going around these days, you can all understand that we didn't want to make this kind of decision. Seems that everything causes drama these days. (Stupid expansion-itis!) So I suggested they present this to the guild and see how the majority feel. And guess what? It's caused a little drama. :p
Has VS had a rule against people raiding with one toon and leaving another in our guild? No. I can name a dozen people who have done this in the past. The only time it has caused drama is when people have left without saying anything. Or if they left in a huff, muttering bad things about VS.
In my personal opinion, these guys have a genuine desire to be part of VS in one way or another or they wouldn't have stuck around for so long. Will it work for them to have a toon over there and the rest with us? Who knows. Should we tell them they can't do this? Not without setting a precedent that we probably don't want to set. So I say give it a shot. If any issues arise, I am confident they will make the right decision for VS.
And now I think the Producers would like to declare a drama-free month or we're going on strike. ;)

Thank you, Sapph (and Fox - and everyone else too!). I will probably move Melestria out tonite but you will see me on my other toons (causing as much drama as I possibly can) sooner rather than later :)

I also support you guys, in fact I think this is a really great idea!
Not the part about you not being around all the time, I'm not cruel or anything, but I'm being pragmatic here.
In the past we have had new members who have come to us after being member of "OMG Raiding" guilds. Members like Aro, Eulz, Frolic and a few others who saw a lot of the end game stuff before we got to it.
That really turned out to be a boon for us when we did get around to it. We had someone in the guild who had first hand experience in the content we were seeing for the first that could "hold our hands" through the new material (I never let Eulz hold my hand personally, I was afraid she'd bite it off).
So, selfish or not, I think this could be helpful to us in the long run.
All of that said, and on a more personal level. I'd say "good luck out there," but I'm sure that we will see you all frequently on VS runs on your "non-raiding" days.

Thanks guys. I am pretty sure you will see us more than they will. It is only 3 nights a week on those toons. I really doubt I will be playing Khros more unless I need to farm something from a heroic for some reason. I don't think I will really be running him through heroics.
Pregor and Borroso will still be here causing trouble - as will my other split-personalities making their way to 80.

Ah gotcha. I misunderstood. I thought you wanted free drama for a month.

Best of luck, guys. And about this strike thing. Does that mean Fren, Kae, and myself get to run the guild while you guys are on strike?

I am all about the drama. I want MORE drama. In that vein:
Lux wears granny panties.
Foxfyr collects Barbies.
Frenial actually has a nasal, nerdy, girly voice -- he uses voice distortion software when he talks on Vent.
Sapphyre is gassy. Seriously, the girl cannot stop farting.
Dalwin is afraid to take his clothes off. Ever. He takes showers fully clothed.
Homreker cosplays as Sailor Moon. But not at anime conventions. At Wal-Mart.
Khros leaves skidmarks in his underwear. Dark, moist ones.
Eulalia plays WoW in a satin Hello Kitty bra and panty set.
Rastus tells children to rub his bald head for luck, like he's Buddha.
Also? I also have several characters in another guild. Because I play Horde. If loving warlocks is wrong, I don't want to be right. Suck it up.

ALL OF THEM ARE TRUE.
(P.S.: pix or it didn't happen.)
(P.S.: pix or it didn't happen.)
1. I AM going on strike. You got a problem? Deal with it yourself or bug Fren, Shadian, or Kae the Cunt about it.
2. I'm wearing granny panties right now because I am BLOATED, Stranger. BLOATED.
3. We are interested in no new Directors at this time. Leave us alone.
4. Raid loot is nothing but pixels, but a really awesome guild with good friends is real.
5. I was slobbering drunk today by 1pm. Again, taking a break from all drama until further notice. I said good day.

Hey guys.
Sorry for the lateness of posting to the thread- I've been getting my butt totally kicked by the flu for the last week or so. Now that I'm out of bed and back at the computer, I finally had a chance to read through this thread and wanted to post my $.02
VS has been my guild home for a long time now. I genuinely think the world of the guild as well as the people in it. I've been in a few guilds now over the life of my WoW career and I can recognize something truly special about what VS has. So much so, I have brought my son, Dalorn, into the guild family. So much of what I love is the casual, "play the game you want to play" atmosphere. Low stress, low drama- lots of laid-back fun. In a nutshell, the qualities that you WOULDN'T find in a typical raiding guild.
In a perfect world, we could have simply pugged 25 man content and been business-as-usual for the 10-man content. For a variety of reasons, that didn't turn out to be a viable option. However, I definitely want to stay actively engaged in VS as my "guild home" and have no desire to move Arterius or Dreadloc out of the guild. I've made a number of in-game and real-life friends in the guild and definitely don't want to lose that.
Thanks for making the game so much better!
