I have heard that it works for Diablo, but I am not in that one. I have been messing about with the MoP beta, but it doesn't seem to have carried over into that. I haven't tried adding anyone manually on it yet to see if that works.

Definitely works for Diablo. Not sure about WoW - I only went in there briefly and I didn't see any of my friends.
