Maybe they it it earlier in the day, but February 5th (today) is the earliest possible day to hit level 15.
We all hit it at about the same time. SDM were about an hour ahead of us, We Know an hour behind.

Thankfully, this isn't necessarily about talent and more about our abilities to sit unwashed for days in adult diapers in front of our computer screens.
Done...
Wait, did I say that aloud?

the day that we turn 23 is going to need the BIGGEST push. at that time only us and the few others that have been hitting cap will be open to run wild... the day AFTER however the pack will widen tremendously. and it will only get more competitive from there.
so if we dont go balls to the wall right off the bat when we hit 23 we can forget about it. i think i will be taking holiday time these days if possible.

So, they recently upped the guild experience given for heroics and raid bosses. I am starting to wonder if grinding quests is still the answer to the biggest advances.
This also brings up the fact that we might be at a disadvantage due to raid progress. I think that over the next little bit we should try to see what kind of guild xp we get for raids versus heroics. Our best bet might be to chain run heroics in addition to the raid bosses we have taken down at the time. Then again, we have a little bit before this happens and raid progress might not be an issue any longer at that point.

Yeah, I'd like to know whether I should continue to level up my lowly DK.

I just want to point out that yesterday we hit guild experience the cap at 12:30am server time (which is actually Friday morning I realize) a scant 1.5 hours before the reset (at least I assume that the reset is 2am server for these things).
So, whichever route we take (questing or dungeoning) we will have to get more exp in to keep up. And... as we should level today, the amount we will need daily will go up again starting (either today or) tomorrow.
Now that Baby-Hom is sleeping a more normal schedule I've been trying to get online at night and push the questing path while leveling Gothica into higher level quests.
@Styg: Do you know exactly how much more exp you get for downing heroic bosses? Last night we spent about 2 hours in a heroic and downed all 5 bosses. The question is, did we get more guild experience than we would have from questing for 2 hours each? My thought is that its probably pretty close... If we were able to one-shot all of the bosses, we probably could have made the run in closer to 1.25 or 1.5 hours... but then if it were a Random PUG, there's no telling if we would even have finished a boss at all... Also, did they increase the exp for regular bosses to make that route more experience rich than questing?
I'm just curious where our time is best spent. It is also probable that the other couple of guilds who are close to us are beginning to have the same struggles... so the longer we can continue to hit the cap the better our chances.

In a five man guild group, you currently generate 233750 guild experience per boss kill. (Five people at 46750 guild experience each. I think that number came from Frenial though, so it may be affected by being human.) Taking a best case scenario (seven bosses in a two hour Halls of Origination run), you'd get about 160k guild XP per person per hour. Questing gives you a quarter of the quest experience as guild experience, so you'd have to do more than 640k XP an hour while questing. I was easily doing that towards the end of the 80 to 85 process, doing perhaps a little less towards the start, so leveling is probably still a better bet than chain running heroics.

Today will be a very good opportunity to see where we stand with other guilds. Our Experience Cap for today is just barely over level 20. Which means that any guilds that may have not capped won't hit 20 today but we will. We'll be able to check the date of our level 20 achievement against the date of other guilds.
So try to cap as soon as possible today. If you see 5 people on, do a heroic.
