Meh, just got in from work and no invite email - sadface. I'm probobly going to try combat medic as my first run through, the moblie healing and dps appeals to my taste. I haven't really found a class that is on spot though. I'm pretty much banking on Bioware making an interesting game to play. Ah, having played wow on a pvp server for years I am not all that interested in the gank fest that occurs on a pvp. I'll most likley pick a pve server, probobly shadow hand since my wow server was shattered hand but definatly an east coast pve server.

I can only imagine what wait time is going to be like after release if they don't add some bandwidth. They had to know how massive a release this was going to be.

Sadly, the devs have stated that it is their plan to closely monitor the servers but also to keep form over-providing server space to avoid server mergers in the future. I'm not sure I get that approach (seems good games don't merge servers but bad ones do before they close down) but oh well.

No, I don't think anyone did, certainly not officially. I will say that server populations are pretty high and if someone wants to grab the lead, please pick one of the newer servers as the early game access servers are all pretty full. Then again, I'm not sure there's a good answer on how to avoid queues on the first day of release. I heard someone mention Ebon Hawke as their choice to play on but that's a full server so going there may result in queues. Not sure what to tell you Gallus, judging by this thread it seems like theres maybe 5 people in VS that are playing SWTOR. Looks like we are all over the place and the longer it stays that way the more invested we become on those servers and the less likely we will all migrate.

I waited 10 minutes to log on to The Ebon Hawk to make a character and my name is allready taken. Bullshit! I guess it wasn't meant to be. I am on Elysium still for now.
