Akchuly, it's mandatory.

It sounds like there are 3 main things to the Wise Guy position (just making sure I'm reading it right):

1) Know the various spec's and talents and abilities possible to your class, how they work, etc.

2) Know all the class-specific quests and be willing to help guildmates of the same class work through them.

3) Make sure guildmates of the same class can come to you if they need help on any of this, or if they need recommendations or help on getting better equipment, such as storing away tier 0 BOE pieces for them, etc.

Is that about it? :)

Now that my connection is FINALLY working, I need to get my feathers grinding....

Once I hit 60, I'd be very interested in the Druid position if it's still available.

Estarrio will be my second level 60 toon, so I am an experienced player and I'd love to assist by helping fellow druidkin get the items, quests and info they need/want. Unfortunately for my employer, I spend TONS of time learning about druids whilst at work. I have direct experience in feral, resto and of course MOONKIN! I've done many end game runs as main healer w/ Estarrio the Pally. As a big dork, I spend all day researching druid skills, builds, specs, gear, etc... Heck, I could write a thesis on the differences between a panzerkin, clothkin, bear tank and heal bot.

Off to grind!!!

If I can get lessons on Coldness and Distance, I'd akchully love to help out weester priests. At least, when I'm 60, and thus old and gray like the rest of y'all.

Ah hell, I can be a cold and distant bastard sometimes, I'll help with the Paladin position if you still need it. :) Besides, there are only two of us at lvl 60, and Ingomar tends to be a hell of a lot busier than I am, what with business trips, shows, etc. :D

Hey, I'm only acting as a wise guy (never was a good actor!). And we can't actually make someone take an officer position...but I think it is time we put Val to work doing something, that Obvilion playing pimp!

I'd like to help in any way I can, but I do have a weird schedule sometimes. Currently I've been able to attend the Thursday-Friday things consistently, but I do audition for community theatre here and there, and if I should get cast in another show, that'll be two months where I'm around infrequently.

I do want to give something back to the guild, so if there's something I can do, let me know. I just didn't want to step up for an important position when come July I might be all, "Oh my gaaaaawd you guys, I got cast as Spearcarrier #3 in the King and I, be back in October!"
