So, after 3 attempts (and 6g) I finally have my new spec. Would have gone easier if I hadn't kept clicking the wrong talents.

At level 54 I'm 34/11 Disc/Holy. At level 60 I'll be 40/11. I'll have the whole Disc tree except for Force Of Will and Improved Mana Burn.

Here's what I've noticed so far:

1) I'm stronger. Much stronger. Pre-patch I was killing satyrs in Jadefire Run. I could kill 2 in a row without a break, but it was tough. Now they are falling much quicker & I'm able to kill 3 or 4 in a row. This is related to my next observation
2) I can cast forever. My mana pool actually shrunk from 5300 to 5250. But my regen jumped by 15-20 (thanks to the new Divine Spirit) and my mana-per-spell has dropped.
3) Improved shield ftw. I'm not taking much in the way of hits. I haven't even noticed the lack of my focused casting spell.
4) Holy Nova will be great in a group. It's of limited use solo. 570 mana per use is a bunch when I just want to heal myself for 240 & damage the enemy for 140. But if I can heal a group for 240 each? Sweetness. But it's the priests only AE spell (that I know of), and it's instant. So it's pretty nice for getting out of jams or for qucikly healing yourself when you're on the run from a mob.
