I had no idea who was taking care of this!! I have sent some money from me and Fox. I hope it goes thru (I don't use Paypal that often and the whole cross-border thing sucks sometimes.)

Heh, no. It comes in a can. It's the only thing my mother could part with during the canned food drives.

It's been a while since this has been bumped, due to some recent circumstances in my life donations would be handy to take care of vent.
Also, if anyone would like to take up the management of vent let me know. I have no problems relinquishing my godlike ventrilo powers. I'm currently under no contract with my current host (ventriloservers.biz)

I've been hearing a ton about it, but you probably heard the same things. It's supposed to be superior to Vent, especially as far as lag goes. It would be nice to have a faster voice chat, with less people echoing in each other's Vents.

Generally, this has nothing to do with Vent or Mumble though, and everything to do with using speakers and not telling Vent/Mumble to mute itself while talking.

I set up a test server and it can only support 5 users with medium quality. it resets every 24 hours.
Once you have mumble installed, you can open this in your browser:
mumble://seattle.freemumble.com:5011/?version=1.2.2
Password: vsmumble
