The downside of the 21/30 one is the loss of Power Infusion. Now, I never used power infusion when I had it in my old build. But that's because I didn't understand how it works. Because I R dum.
What I should have been doing with PI is throwing it on our Mages & Locks during a fight and giving them the power to nuke the crap out of the mob.

Ok. I'm going with the 21/30. If only because it's unique. And I am a pretty snowflake.

And the first thing I did was strip off my clothes & run into Stockades. When I die, I now turn into one of those graveyard angel thingies. Why I don't turn into a Dwarf version is beyond me. Also, graveyard angel thingies don't dance. God damn you, Blizzard.

I love pretty much everything about this post.
I love that the FIRST THING YOU DID was strip down and run for it, I love that you wanted a dwarf version of the spirit healer, and I LOVE that you attempted to dance.
... okay, I don't love that you couldn't dance, but that's the only part.

I'm gonna post that as a bug. "Spirit of Redemption can't dance - CRITICAL"
Actually, SoR is kinda buggy. You lose about 1 second of your very precious 10 seconds if it's laggy. And sometimes when your 10 seconds are up, your corpse stands up so that the mobs can hit it 2 or 3 more times. We'll see how it works in practice.

Does it still go off if you have a soulstone?

I believe SoR does go off if you have a soulstone, because you're not technically dead until the angel-you dies. And also I think SoR is hella cool and if I didn't love being shadow on my undead priest so much I might spec into it. I didn't find Power Infusion all that exciting when I was specced that way, although I did get a few ty tells from mages when I tossed it on them in PvP. But it wasn't benefiting ME and since my priest is the me show starring me as me (with guest appearances by me) I went back to Shadow.
I would say the reason why people who play undead are encouraged to be shadow is because the Forsaken themselves are designed to accomodate shadow-based abilities. For example, they have extra Shadow resistance, their Will of the Forsaken lets them break fear (almost always a shadow-based ability, meaning not only can they break it but they have increased chance to resist it altogether), and the Undead priest racial, Devouring Plague, is shadow based. Also, basically, as an undead shadow priest, you can kill almost anyone every three minutes. Stack Dev plague, pain, and vamp embrace on the target and after another application of pain or so, they're gone. (unless it's a god damn paladin or something)

I wish I'd done this healing effectiveness testing before I respecced, then I'd have a baseline. But no, I'm a dumbass. It'll be nice to see how this build works in Scholo tonight.
