2, 2 priest's that aren't shadow.. AH AH AH!

I think a lot of it is because most of these guys are still levelling, and a shadow priest can kill shit a lot faster with a lot less help (though in my experience still only one or two at a time; mages and warlocks we ain't).

Really, it all depends on HOW you want to play. Gleja loves having his renews cost like twelve mana and heal for four hojillion a tick; I love having 8500 buffed mana with heals that crit all the damn time. Different healers, different situations. I love that all of a priest's builds are viable and DIFFERENT. <3 <3 <3

Getting Improved Shield back, dropping a few points from Mental Agility. Ditching Improved PoH (which I never cast) in favor of 2 points in Spiritual Guidance (which will net me +26 Heal with my current gear).

I thought about dropping HN with this respec. But I kept it because it's only 1 point & there's no other class that does anything like it.

Lauris is also not Shadow.

And she's stealing Gleja's build.

Frocked is currently level 22 and levelling up fairly quickly for the playing time she gets. (I'm finding playing casters much more fun than playing a tank.)

At the moment, Frocked is discipline / holy and will probably stay that way until shadow becomes a viable damage dealing spec. (Didn't work so well at low levels - kept running out of mana. It's a pity you can't send conjured water through the mail.) Once she gets to the 50s, I'll probably switch her back to a discipline / holy mix for healing goodness.

Seems like discipline is the priest equivalent of frost (not as much damage, but more survivability) and shadow is the priest equivalent of fire (more damage, but you better be careful).

In all forms, Frenial eventually hopes to be the Destroyer.

Frocked will destroy for a bit, but her final goal is to be Frenial's counterpoint - Frenial takes things apart, Frocked puts things back together.

Frocked is gonna need a LOT of epoxy.

I dropped Spirit of Redemption because it sucks. Once the new talents are in, I'll take SoR again because it will be much better -- 15 second life and 5% Spirit bonus.

I also dropped Healing Focus. This may turn out to be a bad idea. But my thought was that since Gleja mostly focuses on raids now, she shouldn't be getting interrupted all that often. I just hang out in the back & cast.

With my newly freed points, I took all 5 Spiritual Guidance talents. I'll be keeping this after the talent tree change, because there are new spirit boosting talents.

At first, I wasn't sure what to do with it. While it costs a lot less mana than PoH, it also seems more erratic. But after reading the comments on Wowhead, it sounds pretty awesome. 5000 healed on a MT and OT? Yes, please.

Is it considered a HOT, so it stacks from more than one priest like renew does? Interesting.

What's really interesting is that its mana cost is halfway between Heal (rank 4, level 34, so no more +heal bonus once you get to the upper 60s, which SUCKS, it is my BREAD AND BUTTER) and Greater Heal (rank 11billion), and yet is instant cast -- so it takes +heal and my disc fewer-mana-per-instants into account. I'll try to hit 68 by Sunday and we'll see about Hakkar, like Val says. I can hit one level in three days, I'm sure.

Holy crap. I am now ready to solo Strath. Maybe.

Hit level 70 last night. The spells you get are nuts. With talents, my Fort spell is +102 Stam. Spirit is +50. With my crazy mishmash of gear, I'm still sitting on over 9k of mana and 7k of hp. Oh, and 670 +Heal.

For right now I'm sticking to Disc spec. 50/11/0. But that will probably shift back to holy as we go forwards.
