Bornhunters, 60 dwarf hunter, in guild Avatar of the Fallen. This guy lurks near Hearthglen waiting for people to do the Tirion escort quest. Then, he tags all the mobs, gets all the loot, makes the quest take three times as long, and kites the NPCs to do all the work for him. He has little command of English and uses one-word commands rather than, you know, sentences. If you are trying to do this quest and he is around, he'll invite you into a group, pull all the mobs, feign death, and get you killed, so you'll have to start over.

He got Ing killed, and interfered with both me and Ripp doing the quest.

For addition to the idiot list: Listlessness, level 60 undead priest.

Arolaide was doing her Benediction quest in EPL, one of the main points of which is that you can have no help in healing the mobs. Another point is that only someone with the Eye of Divinity equipped can even SEE the mobs, so usually it's no trouble.

Aro was nearly done, and Listlessness popped up, watched, and then cast a big fat heal on one of the peasants, occasioning a cleansing demon to pop up and kick Aro's ass.

She'd already managed to complete it, but she still DIED and it was basically one of the most pettily malicious griefs I've ever seen.

A friend of mine is trying to get a site going that allows you to look up people for pugs. It's a pretty cool idea and I had him add Eitrigg. I plan to go through and add nice comments for all of you. ... well, most of you. ;)

Today as I was riding to do a quest in Winterspring I noticed a solid chest at one of the furbie camps (Yes, I still ride through them to say hello to old friends if I'm in the area) and decided to kill the two mobs to see what treasures it might hold ;) I had just killed the first furbie and was working on the second when this guy runs up and starts to open the chest. I stopped and said that I was working on the chest and to please leave it alone. His response... "LOL". >:(

It is so not fair that you can't drop aggro on mobs when that happens and let them attack the person who is running up to take the chest. :(

Depending on the range though, the mobs will run back to their starting points. BOO URNS for not being able to train mobs dependably!

Aye, but if their point of origin is in front of the desired item, they'll attack whoever else is trying to get that item.

I admit I have used this ability to my advantage ON OCCASION >_> Usually I just trap the nearby mob and go on with it, but if someone is trying to take the herb I'm collecting, I'll deliberately break the trap and feign death :x
