So, there is a quest mod that I'll be trying out called MyQuest.
It allows you to create your own quests and give them to friends...

Things like "Kill 7,000,000 hellboars" or "Bring me a " amd you will receive 15g... as long as there is 15g in my inventory you can turn in the quest.

The mod was developed by the Guild master of my old guild, so maybe we can get it up and running... That may be a fun way to run some of our guild events too... I will report back on how well it works.

I know exactly what you mean. Good luck! You may also want to burn your install discs as well, throwing them in the trash doesn't work. Also, when dealing with the WoW withdrawals, it is never ok to kill stray animals to gain XP in the real world. You cannot bring random junk to Wal-mart to sell and riding a horse all over town is frowned upon in major cities. Anyway, have a good time and you'll be missed.

I laughed so hard reading this that I couldn't stop farting... just thought you should know...

I was having such a pitiful day at work and when I read this I fealt much better...

Which is either because I needed a good laugh or because I needed to fart... I don't know which...

FYI, we (some of the officers/raid leaders) tested this a few months ago. It appears at a glance to be a terrific idea, but we dropped it simply because it requires (understandably) the mod to be installed on ANYONE who is participating (whether giving or receiving the quest), and we've never done anything that actively required mods. We encourage some naturally, like CT_RaidAssist, but we are/were trying to avoid doing something that would actually require a mod be installed when some guild members prefer not to use mods.

Believe me, if we did use it, it'd make many many many guild events much easier ;)
