Amon, check out my build. I have no problems dealing high damage when levelling and have plenty of rage when tanking. You'll just need to manage 2 sets of gear. Find me ingame if you have any questions.

Beam is 70 now and available for tanking. Beam needs more armor (Botanica didn't go too well at level 69, but that was armor related, not level) so he's a bit squishier than he should be, but I can offer tanking services.

I'm working on Darigity, he's presently 44. I have no good idea on how to tank, except sunder sunder sunder whatever.....

I'll have Elath up there soon, now that I don't have to work on levelling Aessell anymore. Elath is 37, almost 38.

If we did open recruiting, we would, of course, maintain strict guidelines for applications. The producers would interview any applicants in-game (before posting applications) to weed out the non-VS types. And we would extend the probation period to 4 weeks for any initiate who does not have a VS sponsor. And during this initiation period, we could insist that they attend X number of instances with VSers before a decision is made.

Looks like we are still short on tanks so we will be starting to recruit. We will be looking primarily for tanks and late-nighters, and we certainly won't turn away any healers. ;) We will be posting on the official forums so don't be alarmed when you see it!

Dar is up to level 49 and climbing... I'll look at respecing soon....

Slow, as long as your leveling and running 5 mans, you do not need to respec to protection. PM me if you have any questions and I'll give you my 2 cents worth.

Lilsumsum is leveling quickly as feral, with the goal of end-game tanking (or healing if needed). But YAY for late-nighters. It'd be nice to have enough to do instances and Kara on west coast time.

My warrior is only level 38 and it's the only toon I play exclusively with the wife, so no help from me. AND it's my last character slot on this server. My next lowest toon is level 34 (Dranei Jewelcrafter, duh) and I don't want to delete any of them. I really wish I could help.

It still would take several months to level but maybe I can get Adaranas to play some to catch up to my level 40 somethings and then she can group with any of them when she plays and I can then level up the tank. I'd love to fill in when needed some day.

Bren -- The problem we are experiencing is finding tanks that want to run the 5-mans during peak hours. Rin, Jam, Shadian have all done their share of tanking for everyone. The others (including yourself) have some funky hours that make it not possible to have runs every night. Like last night for example, there was a full group ready to go to Black Morass but it did not go because no tank. And over the last few months it has become more and more of a problem.

On that note, I would like to ask that everyone be considerate of the tanks that are around. They are all nice guys and willing to help out but let's not burn them out! We know there is a shortage and we're working on it. If you need to run through something but do not have a tank, please send me a PM or in-game tell rather than having 10 people sending tells to the 2 tanks that may be on at any given time. They would like to enjoy the game too and it's not fair to put pressure on them to drop everything to tank yet another run through X instance.

I will try to schedule instances as much as possible but we're all just going to have to be a little patient and share the tanks!

Thanks Sapph. The problem is, we are feeling abit burned out. With a busy RL including demanding jobs, families and the chance to get a full 6 hours of sleep before the vicious cycle starts again, running instances on week days are extremely tough. Atleast for me. I will try to make myself available atleast 1 night a week for a instance run. Probably in the next couple of weeks I will have Sapph schedule some runs.

This is one reason why getting some new tanking blood in here is essential to keeping everyone happy. So if you know or pugged with anyone who would be a good VS fit, please have them send a app to Lux.

Rin is exactly right. I know I've gotten burned out over it. It's a bad feeling, at least for me, when I'm made to feel that a run isn't happening because I can't tank it. And it only gets worse when I get whispered asking me to please tank a certain run and I'm just not in the mood or just want to level an alt for a bit.

Exactly Shadian. I had a guildy ask me to tank last night and I had to tell them No. I really didn't like doing that.

I've sent a shout to my WoW-playing homiez. Sadly, I think most of them love the Horde. We'll see.

While I am not a furry, I am working on a prot-spec pally, named Norii (21 as of now), along with my affliction lork, Scorsese (15). I'm starting to get to the phase w/ Shin where most things are grinds, so when I get bored, I'll switch to one of the two. And I have full intentions of bringing them both up to 70 and using them in runs when I feel I am getting closer to being a capable tank or lock. And as things are looking now, I'll probably Norii to that state first.
