Was having a weird problem this morning. This site was running horribly slow. It says it was trying to load www.wowhead.com
I tried wowhead and it was down. I didn't think VS site was that affected by wowhead. Guess it loads the pictures?

Were you trying to go to a page that had an item link on it?

Nope. I went to the main page and that was slow. Then clicked new post and it will still slow. It's been fine since I made that post.
At the bottom of the page it was saying waiting for www.wowhead.com

Embedded in every page is a link to jscript at wowhead to enable the item link mouseovers to work:
<!-- WoWHead Mouseover-Tooltips -->
<script src="http://www.wowhead.com/widgets/power.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<!-- /WoWHead Mouseover-Tooltips -->
Depending on your browser, it will wait for that before it renders the page. It should be loaded in parallel, which will enable the page to load, but the browser will sit there and try and load it until it times out.

What Beam said. The site also slows down at the 40th minute of every hour when it pulls data from wowarmory -- in case you ever see it happen.

I'm having a weird problem. When I make a post it is an hour off. I checked my options and they are set to -5 and DST is set to auto.
edit:I tried on and it is still an hour off. I just have to set DST to off and now the time shows up correctly. Very strange!
