Closest I could fine

I went back and read this thread again this morning. Shadow and I appreciate the outpouring of good vibes. Everyone here at VS rocks! I don't want to be an AW (though some may think it's too late) and start another thread... so I'm simply going to update this one.

It is with a very heavy heart I have to say it was not meant to be this time around. After a second precautionary ultrasound yesterday it was determined there was a miscarriage sometime in the last week. Sometimes you hit the bar but sometimes the bar hits you... as it were.

I feel like quite the dick for making some AW thread about it only to have to report this a few weeks later. Life goes on, and we'll try again in a bit. For now we're just going to find comfort in the family and friends we have... VS included.

For those of you that are married, have an SO, or have your family around you... just give them a hug and tell them you love / like/ care for them (which ever works for you). That simple act can be worth more then all the tea in China, or all the gold in Azeroth.

Aw... I'm really sorry to hear that. Hope mommy is doing alright. And I hope you two have fun trying again. ;)

Sorry to hear it, man. These things do happen, I know. As long as Shadow's still healthy and doing fine, that's all that matters; plus, you get to try again, and trying again is the fun part. We'll celebrate with you when it happens for you guys!

Shadow is doing alright. She's not blaming herself for this... which is good. We both understand there is a 15-20% chance of this happening, so we're taking it as a bad /roll this time around.

And yes... much fun will be had trying again. That's always my favorite part.

My sympathies to both of you. My wife and I have been through that twice, and it's rough, but you have the right attitude about it. Hugs to you both!
