So, I'm curious. Do you need to be a specific rank in the guild for your achievements and whatnot to contribute to the guild level system? Just curious as my most recent achievements don't seem to be appearing in the guild news feeds and thus makes me wonder if I'm contributing to the whole thing yet or not.

I don't think individual achievements count towards guild XP or progression. From what I remember, guild XP and progression is from completing quests, doing rated battlegrounds or arenas, completing guild dungeon runs or raids, or helping to complete guild achievements. So individual achievements would show up on your own news feed, but not the guild's.

Interesting. It made me wonder because the Guild news feed shows several other VSers hitting 80 and getting the achievement but my level 80 achievement does not show up in the feed. Which made me think it might be tied to rank somehow. But then again, if those achievements don't count toward the guild rank then I guess it's of no concern.

I still haven't had a chance to really see what specifically contributes to guild levels and what doesn't. Been too busy with my mad rush to 80 over the past few days.

I neglected to realize that yesterday was my Anniversary, which put somewhat of a stop to my plans for fortune and glory. I hope the rest of you achieved mightily.

Basically, you could get guild experience for guild achievements originally and then changed their mind. We blasted to level 2 right away because of Kae's BG reputations and my raid reputations.

It'll come here soon. I was checking some of those things myself. Some of the guild achievements are just in gathering professions. Those will happen, just not fast.

Blast, I was hoping that chocolate cookies would get us Set the Oven to Cataclysmic, as the mats are like 20s per cookie, but alas, they don't seem to moving the tracker.

I see that we're ahead of our old rivals, so all is well.

I've been very busy since the expansion hit but you guys all know how I feel about achievements. I promise you that as soon as I hit 85 and start planning goals out for my achievements and guild achievements, we'll start working our way up that list pretty quick.

Tied for spots 4th through 8th. Anything in the top 3 requires over 400 points, so we are going to have to keep cranking out that classic content.

It doesn't say anywhere on the achievement but apparently the pet reward from Critter Kill Squad requires Exalted with the guild to purchase.

So... keep killin them when you see them, but don't worry about it not going too fast since it's going to take a VERY long time to get to exalted with VS.

Anyone else have any alts around level 20? I think I have a druid tank around there and it might make getting the Ragefire Chasm achievement a bit easier if we can port in. Running through Orgrimmar might be a bit tougher with the new guards.

I had the same thoughts too...and I have a 23 Disc priest ready to go.

But I know some people still need it for their classic dungeon achievement and want to do it. Now that we can fly it *might* be easier to get there than it was, I'm not sure how easy it is to avoid the flying guards.

Well, worst case scenario is a series of naked lemming dashes to the dungeon entrance. I would help run it either way.

As long as you know exactly where you're going you can fly in easily. I did it a week or so ago. Just have to make a beeline for the entrance to the dungeon.
