By the way, when I got onto Eitrigg today I removed Clan and Edra (and her alt) from the guild. I know they were going to gquit. But I saw no harm in taking the initiative.

I should amend that I suppose by his definition it didn't count as a guild run, Gleja, since it was just all guild people in an instance. I'm kind of hazy on what's considered Guild Runs, since I had always thought that Guild Run = Run With Guild People. But still: an epic, off a hound in BRD.

Also, now that I've read the conversation over and over, I wanted to clarify something about his main argument.

When we said our gear was good in the moving on post, we meant our gear was good enough to take on the Baron, not that we didn't want better gear EVER. The discussion was based entirely on whether or not we were geared well enough TO MAKE A REALISTIC ATTEMPT ON THE BARON, not whether we never wanted any other gear ever for the rest of the game.

The argument was this:

Clandara: I won't do a Baron run, because we aren't geared well enough for a Baron run.
Gleja: Yes, we are.
Me: Seconded, we totally are.

The argument was not:

Clandara: I won't do a Baron run because we aren't geared well enough for a Baron run.
Gleja: WE DO NOT NEED GEAR! EVER! WE CAN RUN THE BARON NAKED! FOREVER!
Me: NAKED AND WITHOUT WEAPONS!

... Having just read the conversation? Everything Edra said was a lie. EVERYTHING. I know the point is moot now that they're gone, but I am horrified that she flat called me a ninja *to a guild officer*. My god, I would NEVER.

She did NOT know I had gloves before she sold them, because I DIDN'T. Her mistell was while they were helping me get the Egg of Hakkar, and Jami got me the gloves before we went to Strat. I need to clarify something.

I never said anything regarding Edra's request for Blood of the Mountain. What I told her to buy were the 3 arcane crystals she was going to need to make a rune arcanite rod.

Specifically, I was asking Jamisia what mats were required and he told me. I mentioned that I was going to buy them. She had then asked Jamisia, "Well, when it's time for me to make my rod can you help me get the arcane crystals?" I mentioned that the crystals were selling for about 30g on the AH and that she should just go and buy them. In the amount of time it would take for Jam to farm those crystals, unless he got really lucky, she could farm 90g easily.

She then responded, "I'm not rich and I'm saving for my epic mount." When I heard this, I went through the roof.
I know the cost involved in blacksmithing and swordsmithing, which is what Jamisia is doing (my rogue on Dalaran is a 300 swordsmith). I also know the cost of the Paladin epic mount. It's a lot of gold.

So, someone wiser than me had suggested that there are sacrifices that we all have to make to get what we want. If she wants the mount, she'll have to wait on the arcanite rod. This seemed to me to be a much better response than the "YOU GREEDY FUCKING TUNNEL BUNNY!@@!!@!@@111" which was what came out of my mouth but fortunately not my fingers.

I responded with something like, "There are sacrifices and choices we all have to make. If you want the mount, you'll have to forgo the rod for a while." ... On a side note, that's really a statement open to serious humor. "Arcane crystals don't drop often and I know Jam needs the crystals he has and more."

So that's the story behind the "Blood of the Mountain." Fuck, I'm all worked up. Here comes the rant.

I really fucking hate that passive-aggressive co-dependant I-can't-wipe-my-own-ass-without-my-significant-others-instruction-because-he-knows-how-to-use-toilet-paper-in-the-most-efficient-manner-possible bullshit. Furthermore, that kissypoo shit going on between them made my sphincter seize up. I don't know if I'll ever be able to have a full evacuation again let alone being able to relax enough to accept a foreign objec..... I'll leave that thought unfinished.

Needless to say, I'm not exactly sad to see them gone. In fact, I'm pretty happy about it.

He does raise a good point though. That was a very ODD conversation over guild chat about a week or so ago. What it boiled down to was this - Edra needed a Runed Arcanite Rod. I can make one, and told her so, but I needed the arcanite bars. Now, if I happened to get an arcane crystal via mining that I had no immediate need for? Of course I'm going to set it aside as a potential guild bar once transmuted, no big deal. But despite going on about wanting the arcanite rod, she was not willing to *buy* arcane crystals and actually asked that we specifically go farm them for her.

Clearly she has delusions about the drop frequency of them.

Never liked them...glad they're gone.
