The best part is that it's funny because it's true. I've seen the vet do it to my cat. If you dog/cat is doing that thing when they scrape their booty on the floor?
Probably need to have the anal glands expressed.
What does it mean when I do the same thing? Will someone express my anal glands?
*shakes head rapidly* No.

I had to google that! I remember reading that years ago and thought it was funny as hell, but I never kept up with it.

I'm a computer geek! ;D
I'm one of two senior engineers for a Fortune 500 bank who run the Online Banking system. It's mostly based on a LOT of Sun Solaris servers running IBM WebSphere (which is my speciality).

I've been meaning to post here for some time now but kept forgetting. Mainly I've wanted to tell Ing for so long that I AM AN ACCOUNTANT TOO!!! (And I think this is also a great time to "bump" the thread for all the newcomers.)
So, as I said, I'm a chartered accountant. My previous job was working for IMAX Theatres as a compliance auditor. I travelled around the whole world, first class, for 4 years visiting theatres, ensuring they were complying with their contracts. Lots of fun but after that long I was looking for a change. (And I wanted more money.) (And I got a new boss who was a total bitch.) (And I don't regret it at all.)
Now I am working for a very very rich man (some might say a "billionaire"). He is CEO of a big company here in Toronto. I get to handle his personal finances. And if I tell you anymore than that, I'd have to kill you. ;D It's got it's good moments and its bad moments but the pay is amazing.
What I really want to do is own my own bar. Who knows... maybe I will one day!

I knew I loved Sapph for more than just her total awesomeness.
It is because she is also my sister in accountancy.
Watch your backs, bitches. We will totally bring some ten-key action up in this house. I'm not even kidding.

Do you still also teach math?
I stare at my monitor for about an hour and drink coffee; then I yell at my videographer for a while because he is a bitter old man. I drink more coffee; then I stare blankly at some instructor whining about not understanding how my classroom technology works. I drink more coffee and move some tables; then I yell some more at my videographer. My boss shows up and we talk for a bit about Jim Morrison. By this time I usually have to yell at someone else in our regional offices about my video-teleconferencing equipment being moved. By that time, some instructor usually cannot make his catastrophe of a powerpoint presentation work and I explain how he linked his media files and did not include them. Yep...thats what I do. Mundane...Mind Numbing...Fair Pay...Excellent Benefits.

Telecommunication Electronic Technician, job consist of maintaining all RF communications in the City of Kingsport, 911 Dispatch, PA Setup and running sound boards. Anything that has electronics inside or a wire hanging from it will most likely come by our shop first. From fixing power supply in computers to monitors. CCTV and alarms. I am under the Police Dept, where I have a badge number but do not carry a gun. All the new tech stuff has been changing daily and into more networking stuff, VOIP, ROIP. We microwave our voice on T1 line to each sites. I use to climb up to 200 feet putting up antennas. Air Force is where I got my training for 7 1/2 years. There is more, but you get the jest of it I hope. 8)

Hard to carry a guy while you're eating a bolonga sammich.
I'll update this since I recently changed jobs. I'm now doing network security engineering for Rackspace. That consists of me sitting on my ass all day, staring at a ticket queue and discussing all the glory that is WoW with my co-workers.

No, Ing I no longer teach Math and Computer Science to 7th and 8th graders. This job is has the same teacher hours, but 75% less stress.
Cheap? Free actually but they don't give enough bandwidth for my sites. :( ..so I still pay. I AM, however, thinking of moving us to mosso when my contract with site5 expires. They're a Rackspace venture company and I can get a really nice discout.
