Oh that's right. Lash out at me for speaking the truth.
You know you can trust mages, though. We don't hang out with demons.

At least we wash our hair more than twice a month and our fingernails don't have fecal matter caked under them.

Warlocks need a party line to remind them of this?

We instituted it upon hearing that mages wanted to sign up as honorary warlocks.

I was in a guild that split off, a lot of the unhappy guilders went to holy crit, we all hated them after it because they were idiots, now I see we aren't the only ones to think they are idiots.

also....

xxjordan is a douche, he asks people to run him through instances, a high lvl, for like 4g or something, then he never pays up. He'll tell you its on his other char and he has to mail it.

HA HA HA time to revive this thread.

Badegg is a hunter who, when I ran into him, was level 26 and in Legacy. I was in Zangarmarsh on an island with some naga, and I aggroed one naga and one slave. Badegg attacks the naga, pulling it off of me and nabbing the tag, then FEIGNS DEATH to the mob comes back to pound on me some more.

Ordinarily, I would not go to the trouble of putting him on the idiot list. But then he had a LENGTHY discussion with me about how since I aggroed it I would have gotten the loot, completely not understanding no matter how I explained that, since I had not damaged it yet, he had the tag. He finally said "so you got one and I got one, and it's even," which made no sense at all. He only shut up when I put him on ignore.

Last night in Darnassus, I got a random tell from a level 22 hunter (I think) named Noobeater. He asked me if I had any spare money to give him. I told him that there were plenty of mobs outside Darnassus who'd be happy to give him money. His response:

whispers: 'lol idk what a mob is lol'

I said, 'Ah, I guess you are what you eat.'

He wasn't too happy with that, started threatening to come to my house and kick my ass. I laughed at him and went for the /ignore.

When? did these random? question marks? begin to appear in sentences.

You've been hitting up the prego-chick's blog, haven't you...

They're not random question marks; they are totally for use of emphasis and the building of dramatic tension.

"THAT?" Agnes says dramatically, pointing to an example. OMFG I AM ON TENTERHOOKS. WHAT THE HELL IS *THAT*?

"Is AWESOME," Agnes concludes.

SHE STICKS THE LANDING. NOW I KNOW THAT 'THAT' IS AWESOME.

Of course it could just be people doing random typos with their punctuation, what the hell, but that's how I always read it, mostly because it's how Ingomar and Aro tend to speak in person most of the time.

Think of it as a contraction of 'You know what that is? It is awesome.'

That? Is awesome.

Also, thanks, Lux. *grin*

I use it because I need you guys to hear my rising intonation when I am speaking.

"Oh. Mah. Gawd. That? Is awesome. I...have no words."

It's fun to try and work in pitch, intonation, and rhythm when you're trying to speak conversationally via typing. Well, for me it is.
