He does -look- cooler, but Snake Eyes is a HERO! When he goes home to his bachelor pad, he's all "Hey ladies. What has two thumbs and just saved the world? This guy."

But that chick was the village bicycle. It's not like Storm Shadow could just go pick up girls and bring them back to the -secret evil lair-. Snake Eyes, on the other hand, could have anyone, anywhere, at any time. He's the one all the evil ladies secretly lusted after, anyway. The forbidden fruit, so to speak.

Look around you, there is a reason that all the nice guy stereotypes exist. Besides, I don't mean the evil chick on COBRA, I mean the Baroness was pretty much Destro's bitch.
All SS had to do was go to one fundamentalist church and be all "Hey bitch, I'm an evil ninja." And suddenly they would be showing him their hidden S&M dungeon.

So I wanted to be Glory (from Buffy) because maybe she's a god who lives in a hotel and buys a bunch of shoes out of boredom. SO WHAT.
I'm over it now. MAYBE.
