Looks like our vent monitoring problem is being caused by our service provider now blocking outbound ports from the server... grrrrr... I've opened a ticket with them.

Blocking OUTbound ports? that doesn't make any sense. It would also be a really big cowinkydink that they changed that the same time the vent server was switched.

Did you try the scripts I did?

Well, they were blocking the ports and have now opened them. *shrug* They did it just a couple weeks before the Vent changes... I just hadn't noticed the Vent stuff being broken but I did notice the port blockage as I USED to tunnel my WoW traffic from work through an ssh tunnel because work blocks the WoW ports.... now I have to tunnel through home.

I have not integrated your script yet but it is on my todo list once I get back to work.

When I click on the calendar link in the Navigation section, it takes me to May, 2008. Normally it takes me to the current month.

Nevermind. Now it's going to December again.

Tested on mine end , mine goes to Dec 2007, not sure what is going on.

If for any reason you click on another month (by accident or on purpose), it'll remember and return you to that month if you go back to the calendar.

I know I don't have the ability to do this stuff on the site. And its a little over my head.

But it looks like this is an explanation to implement Wowhead links into vBulletin. It also appears as though they have it using the names as opposed to the item numbers.

But I'm not sure.

Edit: Not exactly the names, but you don't have to type out the whole url at least

Went out and found a new tool tonight. Hopefully this resolves our problems.
