So for the regular readers of this thread, this next bit is in a couple parts. First of all, you may have noticed Trianna's new avatar. That probably has something to do with this.
From my limited knowledge of german pop culture, I would suspect that video is not as old as it looks but I really don't know. I do however know that it inspired an Oscar winning actor to do this, and that's good enough for me.

It's actually from 1976...if you stop the video at 0:25 and look in the lower left corner of the screen you can see the watermark that's only visible when his dark jacket is behind it. Here is a video of Eduard Khil addressing his new internet fame.
I've edited this post several times because I've seen his last name written as both "Hil" and "Khil", and I wasn't sure which one is correct.
