I must be whored to crack once again. My authenticator has been misplaced by my loving son, who has apparently stuck it in one of the many, many, many boxes left unpacked from our move. Either that or it's in his massive toy box, in which case it will never ever be found again. I'm in the process of trying to get a new one, but I'm on hold yet again after being hung up on twice. I may try garroting these guys.

This thread is no longer useful so I am unsticking it. Blizzard has made it such that ranks can now be set to require an authenticator... yay for less administrative work for me! Fox has gone through and updated in-game rankings as follows:

Director, Caterer, Gopher, Supermodel - require authenticator
Model, Crackwhore, Up and Coming - do not require an authenticator

It looks as though characters must log in since patch 4.0.1 in order for the game to know that they use an authenticator so several toons have been demoted to model/crackwhore status until they return. If your toons are stuck in that state, please log them in then let us know so we can promote you to your proper level.

And since we are coming upon the expansion soon we will probably go through and clean up the roster a bit. If you have any alts that you don't play, feel free to remove them from the guild. If you have friends that applied that no longer intend to play with VS, please let us know. I will post or PM before gkicking anyone who is friends with a VSer but don't be alarmed if you see some booting happening. :D

I did type them in order. But this list doesn't matter anymore since the game tracks who is using an authenticator. So go nuts. Mix it all up!

I'm not sure I understand the promotions. Even after using the authenticator, I don't have full guild priveledges (such as repairing with guild funds), still listed as "Model", still guild rank 7 on the armory. Is that supposed to be automatic?

Somebody has to promote you in game still.

Yeah, it usually takes a few days to recognize that you have an authenticator so we're always trying to promote people until it lets us.
