OK, so the word from the hotel is that we can not bring outside food or drink into the hotel meeting rooms.

However I'm thinking we may go ahead and skip the private bar option. Here's why:

Monday morning following there are a couple of folks leaving pretty early, I somehow don't think they will want to be getting drunk off their gourd and then getting on the plane at 7am.

I'm fairly certain we can get away with canned or bottled sodas, if we keep them in one of the rooms on ice and bring them down as we need them, all we would need to do to cover our tracks (if that's even important) is to buy the same brand soda that's stocked in the hotel machines...

This would, in fact, make it cheaper for the group for those who want to buy alcohol to just go to the hotel bar.

So, I'm not being the "no" but I think this would work out. Let me know, if I have a couple in agreement we'll go with this...

OK, on to another discussion:

For Sunday night's dinner there has been a request for an alternative to Indian food. So I'm going to split the group up and some of us will do Indian and other will do the alternative.

To those who are in the alternative to Indian group: "What kind of food do you want?"

She assures me she will leave us alone... But I invited my sister to play rock band with us on Sunday night. I'll be corrupting her into playing WoW as soon as she leaves home (she starts college in the fall-mwuhahaha) so she would probably meet most of you in-game eventually, anyway...
