Tonight was my first (count it FIRST) experience in grouping with folks who have got serious game. My first observation; I am slow, like koala bear and sloth slow. My spirit animal is a land tortoise and now I know why. My second and most telling observation is that I know now what it feels like to be deaf; not being able to communicate was the most disorienting issue I encountered.

I am grateful for the patience that the group exercised with my ignorance of even the most rudimentary procedure; and hope to continue to develop the skills necessary to be included in more of these sorties in the future.

Getting a taste of the social aspect of this silly game is an intoxication that I have not indulged in quite a while; I am going to jump in and wallow around.

If I could choose one singular event tonight that had the most profound effect...was that Viraj is shorter than me.

I like this post but I feel like I'm missing something...

Was this a guild run?

Was everyone on vent except you?

Details man, details!

I apologize for the Readers Digest version, Fox. My present boss has decided that words are overrated and everything needs to be in a small, easily swallowed format. Unfortunately, I guess that style has bled into my personal writing as well.

One other thing, I forgot to give props to Dr. Hunter S. Thompson for my unabashed pirating of his stellar achievement "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".

No point in mentioning the bats, I thought. Poor bastard will see them soon enough.

As your attorney I advise you to drive at top speed - it'll be a goddamnned miracle if we arrive before you turn into a raving animal.

With a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know.
