OK, something I don't get here: where does it indicate that it doesn't take arrows?

It doesn't say it on the tooltip, I guess. mmo-champion says that this spell is part of the bow: "46699 : Requires No Ammo - Thori'dal generates magical arrows when the bow string is drawn. Does not use ammo."

Well, I stand corrected and humbly beg forgiveness of the falsely accused. Oh yeah, Shad...what i was saying about the being scared to death was; a short story or ironic depiction of a situation communicated with the intent of being humorous. In other words...a joke. :)

It has shown up on wowhead. Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury
Drops off Kil'jaeden, the last boss in the Sunwell Plateau. Other weapons suggested to drop from him include:
