I would like to commission you for the crafting of a "Hand of Eternity". The only issue regarding materials is that four primal nethers are required in the manufacture. Since you are engaged for the near (and far hopefully) future in a performance gig, you obviously have no time to go farm up four nether primals.

Do you foresee gaming anytime soon; or should I poke around a bit and see if I can find another smith that can produce this item?

As far as compensation for the job; I am highly desirous of this most magnificent of maces...name your fee and I will provide it...monetary or otherwise.

As awesome as Ing is, I'll tell you the same thing that I told Stranger when he was looking for a mace. Don't get the HoE.

For a mace that is so damn hard to craft (4 nethers!), you'll probably get rid of it pretty quickly. If you ever end up going to Kara, one of the early bosses drops a mace that surpasses the HoE. And it seems that the mace drops all the time.

Another option is a mace that drops off of Murmur in heroic Shadow Labs. Shockwave Truncheon. And it just so happens that I know some folks that need Slabs runs.

If you like Tempest Keep runs, another good option is Gavel of Pure Light, which you can buy if you reach exalted with the Shatar. And I know some folks that need TK runs too!

Any of these maces are great for starting Kara. And you'll probably feel less bad about getting rid of them than you would about ditching the HoE.

Oh, also, our guild bank has many of these The Essence Focuser. That's a great mace for starting level 70 5-mans.

I am at the present wielding the mana focuser; but it lacks the monstrous phallic presence of "THE HAND OF ETERNITY". My God! even the name just oozes testosterone. OK fine...I'll go poke the monster with a stick, judge it a few times, and sure it will die; but just to think that I could have been using "THE HAND OF ETERNITY" makes me want to set up a table and bake biscuits.

Sure...but is it named "THE HAND OF ETERNITY"; which brings to mind Chocolate Cake (winner) and Chocolate Buttercream frosting sprinkled with 60% Ghirardelli covered pecans.

The other sounds like plain old apple pie (loser); with a name such as "Branch with Nail run through it".

I will say that in all my times fighting the Maiden, I have only ever seen her drop her mace once. Gleja has seen it drop a lot, so your mileage may vary.

However, I used the Shockwave Truncheon for ages, and omg there is no greater Cool Factor than having little bitty Murmur-esque shockwaves trailing behind you everywhere you run. I was so sad to have to put my Truncheon in the bank when I upgraded it, because it just looks so cool.

Plus, it was pretty awesome to be able to put my truncheon in Sapphyre's box so she could slick it up with her magical oil.

Just sayin'.

Personally I used The Essence Focuser with +30 INT enchant until I got the Shard of the Virtuous from the Maiden in Kara. I managed to get that on my third Kara run. That mace does seem to drop a good bit in Kara.

Some other options:

• Hammer of the Penitent - Drops off Mechano-Lord Capacitus in The Mechanar.
  
• Gavel of Pure Light - Purchase with Sha'tar rep. Not too hard to get because a lot of people like running the Tempest Keep instances, especially on Heroic.
  
• Gladiator's Salvation - Get through PVP. Not too hard. Just get the Eye of the Storm tokens and then grind the rest of the honor in AV. Only problem is that this one has no Mana/5 so you would probably want to make up some Mana/5 with other items, but still this has great stats for something that is not that hard to get.
  

Finally, if you really do want the Hand of Eternity, I believe Khros can make it on Chaves.



P.S. There are a lot of good items you can get in PVP that are very useful in PVE and are pretty easy to get, such as:

• Vindicator's Band of Salvation
  
• Vindicator's Pendant of Salvation
  
• Vindicator's Ornamented Greaves
  

These are healing items but they have ones that are useful for all roles.

Yup the season 2 Healing Mace is +423 healing on it +31 Stam , +21 intel. Might Take a while to get but it only takes about 1 hr a week of your time. If you can get mana regen on some other items it would be a big boost.

If you do decide to grab TEH HAND, which I really think they should buff somehow because it pisses me off that it's so hard to make and yet is not nearly so awesome as stuff you can get almost immediately afterward if you're running Kara (boo), definitely try and grab Khros rather than me.

I'm happy to make one for anyone for no charge, just get the mats your own bad self (the nethers, like Glej said, are a PITA), but I won't be on with any frequency for another three weeks, so if Khros can make it I'd guess he's your man.

Did I mention I was pissed at how useless this freaking mace turned out to be? I was pretty pissed.
