Hey guys,

I'm working on my pre Kara gear for my little hunter. Which set do you think is better, Desolation or Beast lord? I am specked BM.

I am leaning more toward the Desolation, it has less agility but it makes up for that with the extra AP, Hit Rating and Crit, plus it has more stamina and intellect. OK so maybe I answered my own question but I would like to hear some of your input.

I went with the Beast Lord Helm, Shoulders, and hands and for the leggings I had the Desolation piece. That +35 hit rating set piece is very nice. I still have those leggings just for the hit rating. For my chest I had Breastplate of Rapid Striking till I got my arena piece.

edit: Not sure if you like pvp or not but I still use the Vindicator pvp pieces for shoes, belt, and neck piece. Check them out on my WoWArmory Page . Haven't had anything better drop yet.

I agree that the Vindicator PVP stuff is really great and requires very little effort to get, just some time "grinding" honor. Even if you dislike PVP it can still be worth it.

I'm still wearing the Paladin ring and boots and I plan to get the necklace next. For me the Vindicator necklace beats the one I got with Heroic Badges hands down.

I would think Desolation for BM... get all the AP ya can get

with that said I'd also say PVP for gear. IMO the gear is better and it's the quickest way to get up to par.

I completley forgot about PVP, that does seem to be the easiest way to do it. I will look into that. Thanks for the suggestions!
