I had this posted in one of the Kara signups and figured it was in the wrong place so I'm just gonna put it here so everyone can see it.

When you're signing up an alt for Kara or ZA it would be helpful to say something like "I'm available to go and would prefer to bring Zealot" Or "I'd like to bring Zealot if there's room but if not someone else can have my spot."

We're getting pretty tough but we still need to balance classes to be able to succeed on these runs.

And I'm really not trying to be anal... I mean this from a scheduling point of view.

For example: We have one spot to fill and there is no warlock in the group yet. Rastus signs up and says "I don't need to go but if you need someone to fill the group I'm in and would prefer to bring Uvula." Demondoodle signs up and says "I really want to go this week. I can take Tigress."

To me this looks like DD really wants to go but not with his warlock and Rastus is willing to bring his warlock but doesn't care if he goes or not. Who do I bring?

How about Agnes goes with 9 other Beams? That sounds pretty balanced.

I don't have a problem adding that to my sign ups.

Normally if I don't mention DD it's because I don't want to bring him, and in some cases I can't bring him because he either already has a raid id or is signed up to another run of the same instace later in the week (crazy all days runs etc..).

If the raid needs DD for certain fights I have no problem swaping him in, normally on raid night I prepare both toons and leave DD outside for just such an emergency.

But I certainly don't want to hog the warlock spot and if there is a lock the has a need for the run feel free to take him. Anything that drops in Kara now for DD is a side grade (trading crit for spell hit) or a minor upgrade (T-4 helm for set bonus, Netherspite offhand), and I would only take it if the other person did not need it or was in the same boat I am (side grade etc..)

I would hate to see stuff sharded because I brought DD to a raid when there was someone else on deck that could have really used it.

You don't have that many holes.

You don't have that many holes.

Your lack of imagination is disappointing Bren.

You need to spend more time with Google.

Well, sure if you count the EYES, but...

Sorry to change the subject away from orifices...

So have I been doing it wrong then? I try to be as clear as I can, but if it's not working, I'll be happy to follow Fox's request!

Now, back to counting holes.

No... You're good.

Actually that was news to me that DD was only interested in going if there was a spot for Tigress (Unless we really really needed DD of course). It doesn't even have to be super specific... just enough so I can tell what to do if it's down to a few people and I need a class that hasn't signed up.

I am sure there will be times that I will still bring DD to Kara.

If there are two seperate runs I may bring DD in to rack up some badges or for a try at those couple of items that would be an upgrade ie Tier 4 helm or spell hit rating item.

Or just to see how much DPS I can crank out, I want to try curse of doom on Netherspite with 40+ stack of spell buff on me.

But for the most part if there are toons in the guild that could use the run more I would definetly let them go in my place.

If you need DD don't be shy about asking for him.

I am always happy to help. Unless you call my place at 2am then it better be to ask help to move a body or something.

Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt for wiping the raid. You can't put it up because it procs right when Banish Phase ends. I did about 40K with it, then pulled him out of position and the raid died.

The buff ends before you can get the CoD to proc while the red beam is up. From what I have seen it looks like there is about a 10 second gap.

But CoA does a nice amount of damage when you take the full beam. I usually do about 400K damage on that fight alone.

It seems like all serious threads turn into something with sex and bears, lol.

I've been sick since Webnesday night. I'm finally feeling a little better. I should be back to full strength by Monday.

Am I the only one that had a flashback of Pyroguard Emberseer?
