Well, we've sold our condo. FOR FULL PRICE!! I am so freakin happy right now. :D

This was an amazing thing. You'll have to excuse me if I'm not making much sense as my brain has been fried with the awesomeness of it all. Here's what happened:

First, we got an offer from a young lady. This made us quite happy. We were supposed to meet her tonight at 5:00pm to discuss the final terms of the agreement. However, earlier this morning my dad (who takes pictures for real estate agents. I think he knows most of the good ones in the city) was casually talking with another agent about how Twist and I were selling our condo. The agent said that she had some clients that had just lost a condo in our building. Another 1 bedroom a few floors up from ours. She asked if she could see ours. We said Yes of course. Well they liked the place so much that, to avoid a bidding war, said they'd pay full price if we agreed and signed right then and there.

So we did.

I feel kinda bad about the other agent. Apparently the first young lady and the second lady had bee in a bidding war on the same condo a few floors up from us. So now that's two condos that the first young lady has lost. Still, that's the way the game is played.

Right now, I feel like a winner! :D :D

LOL. I'm not celebrating just yet. There's still the conditions to be settled: the building inspector (I can't see him taking very long. It's a one bedroom for pete's sake!), the financing, and the status certificate. The deal could still fall through, but I don't think it's likely.

Still, GLEEEEE! :D

Just to keep you guys updated: 2 out of the 3 conditions have been met! We passed the building inspector and the buyers got their financing in order. There's just the status certificate left and then we're good to go!

It's time to start doing some major house hunting. RELEASE THE HOUNDS!
